I applied for a job last year where I met every one of the qualifications, had the specialized skills, and passed their knowledge test like it was nothing. They were acting super excited to get me on board asap...until they found out I was a student and I'd only be around for the summer, and suddenly the thing they wanted most was for me to get out of the office and stop wasting their time.
