It could just be rose-tinted nostalgia, but I remember a golden age when Google gave useful results most of the time. Now it seems that the best result is just a Wikipedia entry (often useful, but not always) and the rest of results are shitty SEO blogs or clickbait "journalism" sites. I've tried DuckDuckGo and other engines, but none quite seem to measure up.

These are pretty much the only sites left on the internet anymore so it's no surprise that that's all you can find
