I gave up on chez scheme + sdl once I realized that its compilation facilities don't extend as far as producing standalone binaries. Plus chicken scheme already has a bunch of game-related packages

The last time I considered such a system, it looked like Chicken was the strongest candidate for integrating gamedev and Scheme. Alas, I have so fricken' much left I want to learn about gamedev before I can really commit the time to really explore in that direction (the serious jerbs are largely sepples-centric and I happen to be looking...).
