>>842,844,848 Working or not I don't think it will matter, from what he said in the GQ interview, he clearly thinks there was nothing wrong with TayTo and it'll someone else's fault. Which speaks of little self-awareness and immaturity.

>>852 EO is putting on her scarf and getting her giant purse ready. The media is getting ready to be...exhausted by his extra. Swifties are getting ready to mention that she is in LA too. Luke or Beardy is ready with the tranquilizer darts. The veranda is getting ready to ooooh and awww. Karma and the universe is surely getting ready to take him down yet another peg.

It's all going to be just fine...none of it is going to be fine. On we go.

Hubby and I are going out for a real date night for the first time since the arrival arrived so no GNS for me. I'm going to need those who watch it to give me a cringe rating out of 10 or a number of fingers to watch through suggestion.

Have a great weekend, everyone. Americans, enjoy Monday and think of Washington taking names and kicking redcoat ass at Yorktown. Brits, it's probably just as well - you still have Canada, eh.

Here's a clip of Kong vs Skull Crawler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8Nfk_86_3A

CG seems bad to me, Kong looks out of proportion (I'm no expert though) but this clip already tells me the film is stupid. Why do people running away from a monster turn around, was it selfie time?

And why would one need a tracker to track giant animals? Wouldn't the huge footprints be a dead give away?

>>853 Hahaha, let's do a prayer circle that he'll be seen near TS's place and with EO, that should crash the veranda.

Have a great time!

>>833 I doubt the GQ cover did anything for him in the US, especially with the sickly-smile picture they used. Vanity Fair might have been better.

>>834, 837, 838 I agree about Hard Boiled's status. Also, does it feel to anyone else as if he must have gotten a multi-picture deal from WB when he signed for and/or stayed with SI, and this is the bone they've thrown him? Why else would WB want to do a pix with a director and actor whose last collaboration flopped as badly as HR did?

>>838 - 850 Wasn't "overwork/exhaustion" floated as the reason he stopped doing the stage door meets & greets for Coriolanus? And someone (his agency?) was quoted early in the summer as saying that TH was down about Brexit and the HR and ISTL reviews, and "just wants to have some fun" rather than doing theatre as the agency suggested.

PS I and everyone else I know on this side of the pond watched the press conference yesterday. I think it's safe to say that we are now at peace with no longer being associated with the Republic.

>>839 I thought the two podcasters ended up with opposite conclusions about the article. The guy thought TH was totally just doing it for the PR, but the woman seemed genuinely a bit worried about TH (as are we).

About the Bambi reference - one of the first reactions I had to Tayto this summer was "Bambi vs. Godzilla": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s3UogfAGg0 -- and I was NOT head-casting him as Godzilla....

>>840, 844 He seems so! much! happier! when he's working!!

Captcha: spapation (maybe he needs a spa-cation)

>>843 - 847 A theatre project would still take some time to pull together; I used to be in the business and even a small theatre plans well in advance. So let's hope that's being actively worked on by TH & co.

About the American agents: I think TH is the one who's pushing hard for film. Though I admit that here, theatre can be seen more as a temporary prestige project for film actors. There's a lot of good limited-series TV happening, though, with A-list casts, so that could be a good fit for him.

From following this board this summer, I got a strong feeling that the US agents actually were the ones who finally read TH the riot act about Tayto (probably that he was losing roles to it). The x-romance went really, really quiet just after those meetings.

About Much Ado: On this side of the pond, eons ago, Benedick was Sam Waterston's break-through role when the production moved to Broadway. The actress didn't get nearly the attention; Beatrice isn't as showy a role, I think.

>>845, >>847 8 nights a week in theatre should be fine for his health if the role isn't as emotionally and physically demanding as Coriolanus apparently was. AND if he's not overextending himself on lots of other projects besides the role. (And, of course, if his performance and the production are well received. I think he'd float out of the theatre every night from a good interpretation of Much Ado.)

No mention of the tv show he did with Ruth Wilson? I can't remember the name...

872 Name: Anon : 2017-02-17 23:35 ID:1IVzbkeo

That was it. I am amazed. Unless I missed something through boredom the pee story was cut out. He really was not extra. He looked quite the reverse - subdued and nervous. He didn't interrupt at all and when there was general chat he spoke pretty quietly. It's a bit sad - is there no mid point between dancing bear and being totally down? Well, I suppose it is not surprising after the last 8 months that he has lost that unselfconscious joie de vivre.

RG didn't I think mention Tayto at all. He and RW seemed a bit protective if anything (nothing they said specifically). I slightly get the impression RG didn't want to kick a man when he's down.

BTW I saw those twitter pics of him at the airport and it reminded me of something. A friend who used to work at Heathrow told me that there is a super first class lounge for VVIPS like Posh and Becks. It is a separate check in in a private room with its own security lane. It also has its own lounge and when the plane is called they are taken on last and not the through the gate either. They come in through that door down the stairs near the tunnel entrance that is never open. When they get off they have a special immigration lane as well and their luggage is fetched for them. Basically you get it by paying even more on top of your first class ticket.

This is interesting as it means that TH is definitely not travelling in the superstar class even if he is travelling first class. He wouldn't have been photographed walking away from check in, and fans wouldn't see him in the security queue, or collecting his bags at the other end. Also, if other airlines have the same arrangements as BA do, then it means the photos of Tayto leaving the US and arriving in Australia were quite avoidable.

>>872 I'm happy it wasn't a cringefest and he wasn't the butt of jokes. It's not fun to watch.

A lot of posts here today, and it'll take forever to reply to each so I'll just say this because it's on my mind:
I remember reading about a 'breakdown' that was mainly an exhaustion break after he filmed The Hollow Crown, due to the sheer volume of script he had to perform. That was filmed in the winter/spring of 2011-2012. What was the timeline on the rumors you heard, Anon? Was it before or after the Avengers premiere (May 2012)?

876 Name: Anonon : 2017-02-18 00:25 ID:9XOTNeyP

>>872 He really must've made a mess of the pee story for it to be cut. It had traction in the press. Sounds like everyone is treading on eggshells around him and cleaning up his piddle puddles.
>>874 I recall everybody on this board agreed TayTo stunted through the LA airport. I think the fanfair of their arrival in Oz was an obvious conclusion from fanfairing their departure in LA but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was avoidable. I doubt Brisbane airport has a VVIP escape hatch.
I did note that for a short while after the TayTo disaster he wasn't spotted inside airports. I guess he splurged for a while and now he's back to budget. It must've been a hard nose- dive returning to first class after luxuriating on private planes. Poor thing.

Just saw a SI trailer for the 1st time on US tv - at the half hour point during "Shark Tank." Interesting placement; wonder what audience they were targeting. It was a short trailer. TH in it mostly for a "who or what ... tracking" and one big facial reaction to something unseen. Meh.

>>876 Everything was avoidable. When Kimye exposed Taylor, she hired a private plane to take she and Tom in them dead of night, through Hawaii to refuel, and then to the private Burbank airport. And a pap at Burbank was hired to photograph her smiling and holding Tom's hand to show that she wasn't affected by the scandal. Taylor's plane flew to Australia during the 1989 tour. They could have flown into Burbank from the July 4th party, and continued on to Hawaii to refuel, and arrived at a private airport in Australia w/o fanfare if they privacy. They wanted to create a public spectacle so they created one. If Tom and TS had actually dated for real and wanted privacy, she also could have asked the photographer she hired to take pics for people magazine not to take Tom's picture! And Tom could have not run down to a public beach, where he had papped before while stunt kissing TS! A story was told b/c a story was sold by her publicist. Tom played himself by wanting fame, by not researching her PR past, and also by not researching what alternative motivations Taylor may have had besides those that she presented to him in NYC.

885 Name: Sosorry : 2017-02-18 09:34 ID:bbgAObmX

>>883>>877 I feel that Tom thinks he looks better with shorter hair, and doesn't want to go with the old Gene Wilder curls (which I found darling, and quite lovely.) However, Tom keeps his hair way too short on the sides, which emphasizes how the sides of his hair are thinning out, and, his running regime keeps him very lean and narrow in the face which matures him a bit. I don't appreciate when men are vain. And I love that Tom re-wears his clothes all of the time. But if Tom is esp sensitive about his hair and his forehead scar from Coriolanus, Tom could just grow his hair out a bit, see a dermatologist and wear sunblock. Tom's got a few more tall and dashing parts left. Not quite time for the remake of Goodbye Mr. Chips : ) And eating some more cake can't hurt.

>>883 I've had access to a free bar tonight so I'm beyond tipsy but my job is hair on film (well one of my jobs). Either they fixed it with a hairpiece (most likely) or as that still you linked to exemplifies, they photoshopped the shit out of his hairline for the publicity stills. It also looks like they sprayed his baby hairline darker (hello a product shamefully called "Good Looking Hair Spray". There are other sprays on the market, and that one is mostly used for spraying dirt effects, but occasionally we actually use it to cover bald spots.
Looking at his appearances of late, his hairline is noticeably not noticeable. Aside from the GQ shoot (which is odd- usually in fashion shoots they photoshop extra hair, especially for the cover), he has looked decidedly different. His hairline is finally 'fixed' in my opinion, whether it be with temporary glue- in plug or a permanent weave.

888 Name: Heynon : 2017-02-18 16:36 ID:vHSFHHHc

>>879 Hard to say what age range the ads are targeting from those shows. The first two feel 18-35 to me, but Taboo and Shark Tank could go 18-50.

>>881 About the cut story, it seems to have helped; search results today are bringing up the Eddie Redmayne/elephant story, not the pee one.

>>882 Really nothing to see in the Q&A vids except his silly hair. He only really answered four questions, and looked a little out of it.

>>883 - >>887 In looking at the pix from yesterday (Twitter chat, press tour), it seems he may have done something to fill in the "V"s on either side. But he's always had a high forehead, and that can't easily be changed without it being too obvious, I think. And there are a few other shots from Kong (the sepia ones on http://hiddlestonredalert.tumblr.com/ ) that still show the V. So maybe they only filled them in for indoor shots and/or closeups, or only photoshopped some of the stills. I loved the old Renaissance cherubim curls, but TH probably thinks they'd make him look too young/BBC costume drama/silly at this point. (Wait, a good decision?)

Good morning!

>>883, 888 Hair: That pic looks fiddled with, i.e., they shortened the U-bend his hair takes on top. They did this with some of TNM shots too. In the film pics from Shit Island, the U-bend is more pronounced. Opinion: digital 'hairpiece' for promo pics, not for filming. Ain't no hairpiece going on here, right? https://www.instagram.com/p/BQsQiuDBdzR/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BQr-mtElRWB/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BQrM-6sAYM1/ When his hair isn't styled it always looks fuller from the front because he hasn't glued back the small front pieces so they come forward and hide some of the MPB.

Maybe we should have seen Tayto coming based on his hair choices. 'No man who makes bad hair choices can avoid bad life choices' - actual quote from an auntie who had a very hard time finding a husband in the 70s and early 80s.

>>890 Out of five I'm assuming. Not too bad I guess.

So I can watch GNS...and not through my fingers or with the sound down? I wonder if he's honestly gun shy because of all the backlash and realizes that it's better to stay quiet with someone like RG because people now have ammunition to use against him - or if this is a continuation of the GQ lie/rehabilitation of post-Tayto TH. Most recently his public persona was that of a heartbroken man drowning his sorrows in pasta sauce, so he needs to play it subdued because that's what brokenhearted, bolognese-covered people are like. (I dislike that I always look for ulterior motives in everything he does now...and that I find them...easily.)

892 Name: Anon : 2017-02-19 17:20 ID:1IVzbkeo

>>891 Yes, 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Best stan comment so far: "Remember it is just one person's opinion!"

As opposed to all those reviews in the Guardian, NYT etc which are written by committee....

893 Name: Anon : 2017-02-19 17:33 ID:1IVzbkeo

>>891 Ricky Gervais is a nasty piece of work and I would keep quiet around him. TH was indeed probably petrified RG would say something cunty about Tayto - but even if Tayto hadn't happened he might still have found a way to say something unpleasant.

Of course the show was heavily edited and they did cut out the jellyfish story and the Hiddle Piddle story. Those sound more like TH on his usual form.

However the infamous Robert de Niro episode was clearly incapable of editing so as to include footage of TH looking subdued and not interrupting every 2 seconds. Broadly therefore I think he was subdued. I really don't think he was trying to convey a "heartbroken" impression. He looked like someone who is aware that his every move will be dissected by the press and is trying to be there and provide good value without saying anything of note whatsoever.

894 Name: Anon : 2017-02-19 22:27 ID:1IVzbkeo

Finally the admission - he is taking a long break. We have known this for moneths: http://insanely-smart.tumblr.com/post/157452645963/nepalesruben-just-interviewed-tom-hiddleston-who

895 Name: Heynon : 2017-02-19 23:03 ID:vHSFHHHc

He said he's "enjoying" a long break, which doesn't say if he chose to take a break or had one imposed upon him by the market. My guess is, it's a little of both.

The interviewer teased that his upcoming article may answer the question of what TH has coming up next: on twitter at /nepalesruben/status/833430468963885056

>>891, >>893 On the GNS, he seemed truly subdued. He was holding his hands tightly together during his segment, and his face in this still looks a bit forced and wary: http://www.justjared.com/2017/02/17/tom-hiddleston-once-played-eddie-redmaynes-elephant-in-school-play-video/

It took him until about half way through the show to laugh fully. And he didn't jump in with anything about Shakespeare during the R & G Are Dead segment.

>>891 Your poor aunt, that was a bad era for hair.

>>892 I think the stans are coming around to preparing for the worst. That review does not excite me in the least. If I see this film I'll have to do it stoned and covered in whipped cream in the red light district.
>>895 Those photos are painful. Thats what I call an unhappy smile. I'm positive he would end that break for an incredible project so it must be a combination of both. Also, he has to take a long break to coincide with Tay Tay's long break whom some Swiftie crazies are convinced he is secretly dating again. We need to gift them some tinfoil.
>>893,896 Maybe they finally did tranquilize him for GNS, his pupils were a bit dilated.

Interview with Raw: https://youtu.be/pVTHfsWj964

Again, he seems a bit low.

901 Name: Heynon : 2017-02-20 13:51 ID:t7rozFwZ

There are signs of extra TH on the LA press junket. #brookemorre on twitter posted yesterday that when she asked him about his fave hip hop, they ended up doing more dancing than interviewing, but she's since edited that post. (Hmmm....)

And on instagram, @anna.pavlova.la has a video from yesterday that shows him waving his finger and making a shocked face before the interviewer arrives. (Am at work so can't watch it to find out WTH he was doing!) So he's not totally subdued.

902 Name: Couch Potato : 2017-02-20 14:14 ID:Heaven

>>901 I think it's before the interviewer leaves and it seems like he's mimicking something and then showing his/someone's reaction to it (if I were to guess I'd say the rotating finger is for a helicopter)

I don't think he is actually subdued, as Anon pointed out TGN was heavily edited. I think he is doing what he generally does: he starts with a low key approach but after a while under the spotlight, with more and more people complimenting him and flattering him and paying attention to him, he starts the bear circus act. Because in the GQ interview he out on the mask of broken-hearted puppy, he can't really be joyful.

903 Name: Anon. : 2017-02-20 16:40 ID:GSDTBTOt

>>900,901 It's hard to tell. He may be truly low (the reasons abound!) or maybe he's been told (or figured it out himself) that his puppyish enthusiasm can sometimes get him: into trouble, bad press, eyerolls, etc., and he's toned it down. He also may just have jet lag.

Do we know if there's going to be an Asian leg of this tour? That might be the litmus test. If he's still 'down' when promoting those markets, then he's really grown out of his puppy stage. If he ramps it up like Coach suggests, then the Super Subdued TH could just be a character.

904 Name: Anon. : 2017-02-20 16:55 ID:GSDTBTOt

>>894,895,897 Yes, that it was a break was obvious to the ones here. Coach and others were talking about his lack of new projects in early 2016, around the ISTL and HR promo tours. Only the crazy veranda dwellers and stans wouldn't admit that he didn't have anything lined up. They've tricked themselves into thinking he's A-list, that he's turning down scripts right and left, that directors and producers are begging him to be in their movies - when that's just not the reality of it.

The real question is whether the break is enforced. Part of me thinks that he'd never stop working. I mean, come on, he didn't have anything lined up for the summer and decided to take the part of 'Contract Boyfriend 7.' That's a worker bee for you. But hearing him talk about coming home for the first time in many months makes me think that maybe - just maybe- he might have wanted this. It maybe helped that the writing's on the wall in regards to using Tayto as a career springboard (more like a springboard into an empty pool), i.e, he doesn't need to fully take advantage of the boost he got from Tayto because there wasn't one (despite what the dears in the veranda say).

905 Name: Couch Potato : 2017-02-20 17:11 ID:Heaven

>>903 The film release in China is for March 24, so I guess the premiere will be a couple of days earlier (the release date for theUS is March10 but LA's premiere in on March 8th). I think there's going to be a promo tour in China and maybe Japan (Japan would be a first for him) because of the connection to Godzilla.
So basically he is going to be promoting this film for a month.

906 Name: Anon : 2017-02-20 17:41 ID:1IVzbkeo

>>904 I think he didn't take anything in the summer because it was a short window and he was training quite hard for Thor 3 (he says he has to be fitter because the costume is heavy and he does some stunts). He finished the ISTL tour in early May and Thor 3 was at that time I think scheduled to start filming in early July (and I think did without him). It would have to be a teeny tiny project to fit that precise gap.

Whether the fauxmance was designed to fit that gap, or whether it was a "project" she offered him - a summer job as a beard which he was in a position to accept - I don't know. I suspect the former as the signs are that this was brewing for a while and that she wanted him specifically (her following TH fan accounts on tumblr, his February twitter follow etc).

This break is harder to parse. It is a long one and not looking like it has any particular terminal point. Most self employed people (not just actors) get a bit antsy about that. I can't imagine it was always part of the plan.

As to why he didn't get a job: There is a possibility that Marvel kept him dangling for a while till they decided not to put him in IW; they have a reputation for messing their stars around like this. That might have put paid to the theatre project. Equally he may not have seen the project he wanted.

Once having got the enforced break he may realise that he needs to regroup and refocus. The old monkish Tom is still there underneath the stylist and the entourage and all that crap.

>>906 In agreement. Was thinking he might be taking the break between promo touring to temporarily refocus on behind-the-scenes activity: to continue work on the South Sudan documentary (which we've already seen via photos with co-producers), to co-write/produce "Hard Boiled" with Ben Wheatley, and maybe spend time looking for and auditioning for a theatre project at home (remember talk of Richard III?), or explore another Le Carre adaptation. The tweet said he was in the midst of a long break and that makes sense to mix all of the above in with periodic hanging out with friends and visiting family. This also gives him time for personal self-care in real time rather than while on-set of some movie.

Someone on tumblr (an anon, I think) said that he travels to work and stays home to vacation, which makes sense for career jet-setters.

Ouch. HBO comedian John Oliver making fun of fake Hiddleswift at 4:11, on his program "LastWeek Tonight." Comparing Putin's setup of fake beach pap stroll photos while "discovering" an ancient jug on the beach to the fake beach walk photos in Adleburgh. Is Putin the next PR relationship? Ha! >>906 Yes, it seems likely that the summer was dedicated to Tayto well in advance of June. It was his summer project.

>>907 I would be surprised if he's co writing or producing Hard Boiled. He worked on TNM script and earned a producer credit but would BW collaborate with TH like that? His wife Amy Jump (?) tends to be his co/main writer.

Does Spy/Cold have nudity in it? If not, he won't consider it. ;) I also wonder if he'll go back to the theatre anytime soon. As has been said many times here, he could snap his fingers (especially at the Donmar) and get himself a theatre production. It seems, however, that movies are where his focus is. So many actors give lip service to theatre and tv - how that's where the real creativity is (and it's true) - but I suspect deep down most still want to be on the big screen. TH's detour into tv seems to have been in pursuit of a movie spy role.

He doesn't always stay home to vacation...Bora Bora! We need another Bora Bora. And by that I mean TH and JArthy in Bora Bora again. Jane, we miss you. Come back!

>>906, >>907, >>908 Agree that Marvel may have kept him waiting. Also agree with Anon. that he's unlikely to be collaborating on Hard Boiled at this point, since BW does work with his wife on writing. I'm still surprised that WB gave this project the green light, given how poorly High-Rise did.

Let's not forget :) that he also had the Early Man voice role at the start of this break. But it sounds as though he's wrapped that. I really hope that he and his team take the time to find him a really solid overall project for his next gig - with a really good director and strong script, not just a plummy-looking role for him (ISTL, sigh).

>>908 Ow. As we've said above, the GQ article reaction just showed that hiddleswift hadn't really left the collective consciousness!

>>909 Not sure that anyone would believe if somehow the paps were to "find" Tom on a secret romantic vacation with a woman, that it was the truth, after the summer antics. And JA looked pretty downcast and dispirited while she was catching up with Tom at Ginger and White, so I'd assume she won't be around. I think that Luke calls the paps to G&W when Tom needs a little media love, and Tom re-wears the same outfit and ropes in casual acquaintances or PR assistants to sit with him, to make it more enjoyable while not offering the press too much of interest. Sad. It was such a lovely surprise to listen to Tom speak so eloquently during the War Horse promo years ago, and now we just cross our fingers and toes that he doesn't do anything embarrassing to draw attention to himself in a negative way.

>>917 It's probably just a temporary pic to help promote the film. In the video below from the Kong promo where he talks about his character, Tom says that he signed onto the project before there was a script written! Interessante. I have thus made peace with the Monkey Movie. Tom wants to be an action hero in an internationally seen film, and now he is one. Would have preferred him in a Star Wars movie, but that's how it crumbles, cookie wise. But if a disciplined and Oscar-winning director like Peter Jackson couldn't create a memorable Kong film update, I don't think that Vogt-Roberts did either. Even though the 2014 Godzilla had phenomenal actors (Juliette Binoche, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, etc.) I remember NONE of it. Kong will come and go, make some bank along the way. And then Tom can return home and strategize.

It was Kentish Town. In the mid 2000s it was really not a nice area (flats there I am sure would still have been beyond most struggling actors, but that's true of London as a whole when you have no job). They are worth more now - but still Kentish Town and Kensington bear no resemblance to one another. Kensington is the preserve of oligarchs and formerly hedge fund managers (probably now priced out).

>>929 Christ on a cracker. I just looked at the hard copy of the GQ article, and now I understand why Tom went cookoo in his delivery the tank top monologue. GQ insisted on printing a photo of Tom in the TS tank top at the very beginning of the article! And, the subtitle of the article was about discovering why things "went on the rocks so Hiddleswiftly". GQ literally opened the article mocking him. Wish he had laughed off the incident, or not taken the cover at all, though. I haven't bought the magazine.

>>923 This story is from Star magazine, and is false, Karlie Kloss and TS are either best friends or girlfriends, and my money is on girlfriends. Karlie's bf, Joshua Kusher, is definitely in the closet, and Karlie stunts with him so that he has a leggy and informed girl on his arm to impress businessmen at formal functions. Karlie is not one of the TS minions, but the entire point of attending a TS gathering is to perform for the cameras and be photographed for her instagram life. Each person who attends is free to post her photos, and then can immediately can post about their independent projects. It's a business deal.

>>918 If he signs on to projects before there's a script, that would explain a lot about ISTL.

In agreement about Kong updates not being memorable. But even if the movie itself is good, will people really remember the cast? Or just the monsters and special effects?

>>932 Ouch, ouch, ouch. Including that picture, parodying the t-shirt in the print title, and the end of the blurb -- however the writer might have intended the piece to come across, now we know how the editorial staff sees it. They also picked an odd picture for the cover, I think - he has a sickly smile and is looking every bit his age. (Sidenote: that's probably why he switched his twitter to a picture from the press panel - they make him look a bit younger.) It's hard to tell what audience(s) they were targeting.

I do doubt that TH knew that the picture would be included (though his team should have thought of the possibility - yet another PR fail), so I think his monologue was something he's been dying to say since Taymerica. Wish he'd handled it at the time, and laughed it off.

One of the first print interviews from the LA junket is up. Spends a lot of the article talking about the break TH has been on. An interesting line: "I have been reading a lot. There is virtually no anxiety that can’t be cured by an hour or two of good reading."

Tayto is mentioned is a couple of sidling ways, and TH (while supposedly talking about Trump) uses what I bet will be his standard language from now on about the reaction to the Summer Love Tour - "“This point in history is destabilizing for lots of us because it’s difficult to truly determine what is true and what isn’t. But inside the ambiguity, we have to be kind to each other as we move forward.”

No mention of a new project, but the interviewer says that "Tom said he’d jump at the chance to voice an animation movie character," and it goes on to talk about several of the small voice projects he's done, but no mention of Early Man. Wonder if TH is now targeting voice roles, but only leading ones, so he can stay out of the limelight longer while he continues to regroup?

She writes profile pieces for a living. She's not going to admit to painting him as a fibbing try-hard, that would be the end of her career. So she's skirted the edges of snark and empathy and some fans can't tell the difference.

>>935 That Gucci endorsement was the only thing to come out of or survive Tayto (RIP dignity, reputation, Bond hopes) - so when Gucci says 'wear the Manny Janes,' he's going to say 'yes, sir.'
