I've been trying to put order into the whole drama history around cracky-chan, her pictures, livejournals and the related shenannigans going on in 4chan's /b/ and elsewhere. This is a first rough draft, so help me out with additional knowledge or correct me where I might have been wrong, please.
The first cracky-chan pics appear on /b/. The very first one, posted on
02:17 shows the soon to be famous "'sup 4chan" phrase written on the
palm of her hand. During the next two weeks, more sets appear on /b/
and W.T. Snacks finds out that the poster's IP is from the UK.
"cracky" becomes wordfiltered on /b/.
www.livejournal.com/users/freakygirl/ becomes publically known.
No new pics appear, but the hints solidify and people assume they have
got into contact with the real cracky-chan. The owner of cracky-chan.com
will later denounce this journal as fake, though this might have been a move
to protect her identity, as he also later takes down all of her real pictures
from his website.
Also, later on, another journal, whether fake or real, becomes known:

cracky-chan's tripcode becomes publically known through shii:

It is "sweet" and makes the claim that the original cracky-chan pictures
weren't originally posted by her herself more believable.
www.livejournal.com/users/scarecrowmaiden becomes publically known,
many new cracky-chan pics appear on /b/, some nude, some disturbing,
some both. The journal gets deleted by the owner very quickly.
cracky-chan pics become bannable even on /b/.
Anonymous mods talk of emails from cracky requesting this.

Kirtaner, why close it? If this is supposed to give closure, just let it die by itself; removing the board so soon after the alleged reappearance of cracky is only going to fuel the speculation.

I think she should just get a tripcode, post a bit among the imageboards, talk with us like we talk with anybody and realize that stalkers are everywhere on the internet just as are DQN and just plain fun & silly people you can get along with. After a while, she'll be like Era and nobody will really pay any attention to this anymore.

The crackychan saga has slightly intrigued me over time. At first I thought she was just an angsty teenager that wanted attention. Then she either got bored or wanted more attention, thus the disappearing act. Now this stunt has all of the same effects... she claims she does not want attention yet she is drawing attention to herself. Ultimately, you never can know for sure. Even if she herself came out and said it, she might be lying.
Hell, this latest thing might not even be her (assuming that is the only photo... I would not be surprised in the least if Kirtaner was given an actual face shot as proof aswell with the explict instructions not to mention it or post it.. and he certainly does not want to be nagged for it).
tl;dr, but there goes a comedy goldmine (which I'm sure will just relocate somewhere else). I've never seen people so obsessed yet never actually able to pull docs on someone (that isn't to say someone hasn't, but the people 'publically' working towards it well.. suck). Not to mention people claiming cracky is special and that her photos are art! There are millions of crackys out there, she isn't a beautiful unique snowflake.
