A 34 years old man not even knowing how feels about someone he has been friend with for 4 year and fwb for a year so he goes and denies something that he plans to keep on doing? It doesn't make any sense at all.

>>49 I wonder what the tweet was, but this is why this silly situation with EO is problematic, when the time comes to do press for ISTL in March journalists will surf the internet looking for infos about those two, so even if the collage now won't make it to the media, it will still be found and possibly used in the near future.

some at CB actually think that's Erin Moriarty, but the girl in the first pic up left truly looks like EO. Why would the director delete the photo if that was Erin? A simple "no that's EM, not EO", would have been enough.

In my last post, I meant to say, in parentheses, that it was not clear whether or not TH actually used the word 'stalker' or used words that directly implied the reporter was one.

>>8 >>11 I wonder if she's got the chops or name for a West End run. As I understand, to star/headline, you've got to either have true acting cred/significant stage experience or a name to make productions take a gamble on you. Does she really have either?

She received rave reviews for MMMM (is that enough Ms?), but her movies and work has been a little meh since then. Before TH and before THEO, I saw MMMM, Liberal Arts and Old Boy. I loved MMMM - a really engrossing story, characters, everything. And her performance was spot on - very realistic and natural. Liberal Arts was awful, so her performance was compromised by the plot/cheesy dialogue. Old Boy: I actually liked it (maybe the only one), but of the performances I found hers to be the weakest (maybe tied with the guy who played the Stranger). And despite being in a Marvel movie, I don't think she's that big name or cache wise. She's still the twins' sister before anything of her own making.

I feel like she would need to audition for a West End play - that is theatre/producers wouldn't be offering her things. Not even if TH had a word in someone's ear - I don't think he has that sort of pull.

I don't think the HFPA are anymore reliable or immune to campaigns than any other voting body. Although, by all accounts, Academy voters are those most swayed by campaigns.

>>65 There has been the odd thin-on-talent celebrity casting in the West End - for example LiLo in Speed the Plow, which raised a few eyebrows. That said, LiLo has a greater notoriety I suppose. I imagine most Daily Mail readers were aware of who she was and what her story was whereas I doubt EO is really known in that way.

As to acting chops, I'd say she traded on her family connections to leverage good looks and a fairly mediocre talent into one or two good movies and a number of later ones of gradually declining quality. Save for AOU, a franchise which is definitely bigger than her, her career has been on a downward track recently (jury's out as to whether ISTL will revive it). I think she also traded for a while on the general amazement that she was a better actress than her sisters (who set a low bar - I read an article recently that said they couldn't even act as babies!). However that only works for a while and as people have said on here, she is not an ingenue any more. Her apparent lack of new projects (I checked IMDb just now and there is nothing even in pre production) speaks volumes - for her career and also I'd say for her more limpet-like qualities around TH.

I VERY much doubt he could get her or anyone a gig in the West End. Unless, maybe, he agreed to play opposite her - which would be a guaranteed earner. Unless he is very much more in lurve than his evasiveness about the relationship suggests, I think that is unlikely! I cannot imagine him wanting his return to the stage to be a circus like that would be.

She has been limpet-like (great simile!), however, I don't think it's been completely one sided. He's a big boy, he can say no (behind closed doors, if not in the public eye). But it doesn't seem like he has.

95 Name: Whatsinaname : 2016-01-09 19:47 ID:u1vu1eqv

Welcome N8Anon! I guess I'm no longer the newcomer.

>>76 One of the tumblr posters confirmed earlier this week that TH doesn't have anything listed in the pipeline in IMDBPro (more info there than their public IMDB), which seems a bit worrisome, unless he requested nothing be listed for privacy/strategy reasons. 100 Name: Anon. : 2016-01-09 19:54 ID:8c72Ic/o

>>97 Oh yeah, that's the public eye part - I agree, he can't say no to strangers (you know, the non-confrontional pleaser type).

I do, however, think he's capable of saying no in private and, more specifically, of ending a relationship. I mean, do we think Ave JArthy, full of thirst, (crosses self) ended that relationship?

101 Name: Anon. : 2016-01-09 20:05 ID:8c72Ic/o

>>96 He wouldn't! But do we think it's just that (no strings attached rumpy-bumpy), or, more importantly, does TH think it's just that.

She seems invested - even to us - so wouldn't she appear the same to TH? If he didn't want that (sex with investment), I think he'd tap the breaks, so to speak. Or stop the Jag and tell her to get out, as he seems to have done with Ave JArthy!

The next few weeks/months are going to be soooo juicy: birthdays, filming in exotic, far off destinations, press junkets, maybe joint filming on Infinity Wars - so many opportunities to gauge this relationship!!

102 Name: Anon : 2016-01-09 20:13 ID:bgcXLLLp

>>101 Who knows how it appears to him. I would say that various limpets of my acquaintance are quite good at hiding their yearning, because everyone knows that the ticking of the biological clock is not an appealing sound to the average limpet-ee. And I think men are quite adept generally speaking at closing their eyes to limpeting if they are enjoying the sex and the fun. Since they don't even live on the same continent it must be quite easy to maintain distance.

103 Name: Whatsinaname : 2016-01-09 20:15 ID:u1vu1eqv

>>100 Possibly, but not probably? Maybe she was hoping for something to happen in tropical paradise that didn't, and then the picture debacle - hey, that one was taken down too - and that seemed the end of things. The thought of her deciding she was too humiliated by that incident to continue the relationship makes sense for other women but...I dunno, does the Blessed Ave JA have a limit to her martyrdom?

104 Name: anonsy : 2016-01-09 20:17 ID:YO42PGlY

>>101 I don't know, it's always easier to judge these things from an outside perspective. We can all tell how invested she seems, but maybe in private she's saying all the right things to keep him around? (This is assuming that nothing has changed since November and they are together, which I'm having doubts about.) And, if he has a hard time saying no to strangers, it might be even harder for him when it's a friend or loved one.

I think TH having nothing is far less worrying than EO having nothing simply because she hasn't had anything significant for awhile. Apparently her part in CA:CW is blink and you'll miss it. Even her part in ISTL, while important, is on the smaller side. And as people here have said: she's got to make hay while the sun is shining (before 30 in Hollywood!)

107 Name: Anon. : 2016-01-09 20:25 ID:8c72Ic/o

>>103 Martyrdom!! I love it. As you all know, she's a saint in my eyes. Think about it:

Things attributed to saints:

  1. Visions/Sightings - Tick- She's always being seen at G&W and any brunette with highlights is automatically JArthy.
  2. Miracles - Tick - She engineered a Bora Bora vacy out of a - seemingly - FWB - relationship.
  3. Healings - Tick - okay, that one's not really a tick, but just wait, just wait.

108 Name: Whatsinaname : 2016-01-09 20:41 ID:u1vu1eqv

>>99 - EO has nothing more on IMDBPro than what's showing on IMDB, and she's ranked #95. By contrast, Tom Hardy, for example, has 8 listings in Pro - unlabeled or labeled 'script,' 'optioned,' or 'pitch.' He's listed as the #5 actor in the world on IDMB this week.

109 Name: Whatsinaname : 2016-01-09 20:43 ID:u1vu1eqv

>>107 Healings - she healed TH's sex yearnings, apparently. (Too thin? Sorry.)

Guys guys, let me remind you of limpet #1: Sian, 1 year attached to his tailcoats and just a friend.

111 Name: Whatsinaname : 2016-01-09 21:03 ID:u1vu1eqv

And she managed to break away without an embarrassing photo-deleting episode and tumblr crash. (That was before my time - am I missing something?)

Anyone remember Sex and the City? And the toxic bachelors? And Big's apartment which was like Teflon for women because nothing left by a woman ever stuck there?

113 Name: Anon : 2016-01-09 21:14 ID:bgcXLLLp

Anyway, if you do, I think this is TH in a nutshell: rich, powerful, handsome attentive, charming, always got a woman on the go, not unwilling to see her and hang out, but is allergic to the word GF and never introduces her to his mother. It seems to have been his pattern since he broke up with SF.

Now watch him as he brings EO to the GGs - specifically to spite me!

114 Name: Couch Potato : 2016-01-09 21:21 ID:Heaven

OMG, my captcha is 'peaner' It's making fun of me.

120 Name: NewAnon : 2016-01-09 22:12 ID:SKuCBz5r

I think she got friend zoned hard. From what I gathered from her tweets, she went to the Avengers after party in LA with him and they even went on some vacation together where they shared cocktails on the beach together. Then after attending a bunch of events with him and retweeting and following everything of his, she got some hate from fangirls but she braved it. However after his UNICEF trip, she simply disappeared for a year.

I think he may have been taking her to events to help her network like he did with his other friend John McMillan ( the guy from that Friend Request Pending movie) but she may have thought there was room for something more. When it didn't pan out after he got back from UNICEF, she left Twitter and only came back after a year.
What is with Tom and these girls? After SF, he certainly seems to have a history of these kind of "friends but may more?"

They were openly affectionate in public, real bf/gf-like until a paper reported them as married, from what I've read in archives. A few embarrassing questions from the press, and they were over, along with an FB comment of Thank God from her friend.

>>122 I think the paper that made the error was fairly reputable, so people generally assumed it was true. Tom corrected it in a couple of interviews and SF corrected it on her Facebook, but the rumor stuck around for a while. I'll see if I can track down some screencaps, I know they're on the internet somewhere.

Unless of course they WERE secretly married and the paper accidentally spilled the beans. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

I don't think this was ever posted but this is a photo of EO celebrating Boyd's birthday in Colombia on Sept. 2014
https://www.instagram.com/p/seF8LLISNC/

She doesn't look very excited, maybe she was already thinking of dumping him for her higher profile co-star. The irony of it, considering ISTL bombed, Boyd with Narcos is having quite the good moment and she has to impose her presence with TH and literally jump into photos to remind him she exists.

The only pics of his on the internet were a few Facebook selfies, and I cannot imagine he would spend the time and money that would require to get those back, especially as they were blogged elsewhere.

As for the location: the most tumblr can do is identify the IP address of an anonymous message (not sure if it can even do this for random views from someone without an account). I checked my IP address and three different geolocation providers suggested Hertfordshire, London and Primrose Hill. Not very precise! Primrose Hill is very close to where TH lives but somewhat less close to where I live so you couldn't reasonably assume that anyone viewing her blog with that geolocation was him. Maybe she thinks my visits are him!

I truly don't think he will attend the GGs because filming for Shitty Island starts Monday and unlike Brie he doesn't have a nomination, but if he is still in LA you'd think he'd go to the BAFTA LA Tea Party, instead he didn't. So I'm fairly certain he might already be in Oz or on his way there.

A bit from Brie's interview in the Daily Telegraph

"Brie is in Hawaii, filming Kong: Skull Island, where she and co-star Tom Hiddleston are ‘running around in the jungle the whole time, laughing like children’. A greater departure from a cramped shed it is hard to imagine. ‘It’s a bigger production than I’ve ever been involved in, in every way,’ she admits."

>>129 Hmmmm, I'm skeptical simply because any official cease and desist letter worth its salt (legal and supportable) isn't sent to a blogger using a blogging site, but to the legal department of the site itself.

I understand that when she started blogging (2011?) Tumblr was a fairly new/small company (hadn't been sold to Yahoo yet). However, they would have still been the first port of call for official legal action.

It wouldn't surprise me - given some of his fans - if some well-meaning Hiddlestoner (ugh, hate that term) mocked something up and sent it along.

It must have been an electronic letter, not? Does tumblr require a physical address to sign up?

>>139 You don't need an address these days. Doubt if you ever have - it is all by email. The initial contact for a copyright violation would be from TH to tumblr, but tumblr would then send a letter to the user demanding that they remove the content. I assume this is what the bike refers to - and that she inferred it was originally from TH because the content was his.

OT: how was your work thing? Does NATO throw a good party?

>>140 Ahh, I thought that she was speaking about an official letter directly from TH Inc. (Luke, his people, his lawyer). It's strange that she used the word 'letter' as opposed to 'email.' I guess I'd say something like: 'He sent a letter to Tumblr and they sent me a cease and desist email' or 'He reported me to Tumblr.' Her wording makes it sound more direct.

NATO does, yes - for the big-wigs (I've only been to a few of those - free booze and food, silver service, music). This one was for a mix of less important divisions, so it was just okay. Free food (nice buffet) but only two bottles of wine at a table of eight. And as for company - I was more than happy to slip off to the loo and outside to the smoking balcony (I don't actually smoke) to check twitter and post TCA updates.

OT story for QAZ (I'm shouting her name, so she hears me!!!):

At the work do someone made a comment about Latvia, but then said 'or maybe I mean Lithuania - they're the same really.'

Oh, no you DIDN'T.

My response: 'No, they are not the same. Where are the fighter planes for the Baltic Air Policing mission based? Lithuania. Who agreed first to commit troops and spearhead a response following the Crimea crises? Lithuania. Which Baltic state has the finest English speakers? Lithuania (I didn't have proof for that one beyond your posts here - still used it). They are not the same.'

Do not mess with Lithuania on my watch. I will defend qaz and her people's reputation! ;)

(Thanks to Anon for reminding me about the do and thus the story.)

>>143 Wow, Anon. I'm sitting here kind of open-mouthed and also warm and fuzzy inside :) I'm def glad and flattered that you have such a good opinion about LT, and thanks for educating the ignorant part of NATO ;)

TH who? I have hearteyes for you right now :D

Oh, and sorry for not hearing you shout and not replying earlier!

And once again nobody is talking about TH, or Loki for that matter - he has 2 options left in his contract to be used at Marvel's convenience, maybe a small cameo here and one in the Infinity Wars, or both in the Infinity Wars, or nothing at all.

We all love Dottie! She invented the name Pursegate! She made love against an aqueduct with an Italian stud muffin! She rocks NATO with a truly fabulous handbag! Heart eyes!!!

>>144 I will always be the TH to your JA. Or the Domhnall Gleeson to your whomever DG is dating! You complete me!

In truth, my knowledge of Lithuania extends to the three things I mentioned, but I wasn't going to let him get away with it, so I was prepared to make up facts. My boldness was helped by the fact that I'd consumed at least 1/3 of our table's wine allotment!

>>146 Actually I think you did - invented the name Pursegate, not the aqueduct business (I've got to hold my hand up to that one). Or maybe you corrected it to Purse-Gategate. Oh, god, remember when she was having an in-depth discussion about Descartes with that damn gate?

>>145 I vote small cameo, please Marvel gods, small cameo! In both. If EO is in Infinity Wars and they're filming together...urgh, it will be fangirl craziness. I like gossip, but even I don't want that sort of gossipy craziness.

I think Chris Evans said that IW was meant to shot back-to-back this summer and autumn, does anyone remember? It seems like TH may be going from T:R to IW directly without any room for anything in between.

So, do we think that the text-less pic of David Bowie (what a shock that was!) is the 'new' Seneca quote?

If anything, this might be a smart way forward for his twitter: work/promo posts and the rare picture only post to reflect on a major event. Maybe re-tweeting co-stars tweets, as he did with Brie.

>>148 I've just read an article about IW and the directors Joe & Anthony Russo say they have a board with 67 characters, Thanos against everyone. So if cameo is going to be it will be small for sure.
