The Secret Area of VIP Quality definitely no longer quality anymore because of that shit poster (you'll know the one if you go there) the admin seems to think livens the atmosphere and hence allows him to keep shitting up the board. Don't get me wrong; the "don't think, feel" philosophy is one that I certainly agree with. But there's another one that's also important: "Shit posts are not quality." I really love the SAOVQ, but I've been feeling more at home here recently.
>>405
Possibly the best part about that place is how after every shitpost a couple people will helpfully chime in "Off to the tanasinn chamber!" or something else to that effect. It certainly livens the place up a bit, don't you think?
Speaking of tanasinn, I always thought DQN to be more tanasinn than VIP. The latter should live with its "shit posts aren't quality" mindset.
I'm getting more and more depressed in my university. Or, well, because of skipping it almost every day. I guess I'm knee-deep in trouble, but I try not to think about it. But then I still DO think about it. Hopefully this post will ease up my mind a little bit.
It's just I'm at that impasse again: study all day long a couple of weeks to catch up or just let it drift until I receive a notice of expulsion. Again.
I just want to be a good bass player! 7 years of playing and Im still no more than mediocre. Lately when I go to play Im so sickened with my lack of skill I hate myself and just put it away.
So, today I woke up and said, "You're the fucking espeon! Get a job!"
>>411
You get more self-obsessed by the day, Espeon.
Captcha was hire, appropriately enough.
>>412
I'm about to start *stealk*ing myself.
Everything seems to be going right in my life and I'm incredibly happy, but I'll be even happier when >>413 goes away
>>413
Seriously though, why do you even bother using a tripcode? There's so few of us here you can pretty much tell us apart as "the guy with the menstruation fetish" or "the guy who rants about Touhou".
>>415
Sometimes I make up a whole bunch of conflicting personas, just to mess with you.
>>411,413
Espeon, you don't need a job. I'm sure someone will adopt you.
lol tripcodes
Found one crushed under the garage door today. Not sure if that's how it died or not, but I'll still count it as a kill.
I, too, feel like expressing my individuality.
>>419
14 dead since I started counting. I don't really know my grand lifetime total because I hadn't bothered counting before. In the past it was just a couple at a time. This run has been a pretty major event, though. Remember how destructive ONE can be.
I swear sometimes rats follow me. They're everywhere I go. Maybe as a result of some mutation my sweat smells like a female rat in heat or something.
>>422
Is considering rubbing a rat trap under your arm to test the hypothesis that you're exuding rat pheromones a symptom of the plague? Because if so...

I'm getting really sick of all you people in that demanding things of the last poster thread. You can't come in, go "Hey, fuck you guy before me!" and then start pushing others around. We got a pecking order here in the DQN, see? You gotta start at the bottom and work your way up. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. If the previous poster says, "go on 4chan," you do it! If he says "spend time on something creative," you know what? It's not like you were going to use those ten minutes for anything! Jerk off to your Fate/Zero porn another time, sweet Saber will be there waiting for you. And you know what? If someone tells you to commit seppaku, it is your duty, your moral imperative, to commit seppaku. I mean fuck, I'd commit even commit seppaku on camera. I have a sword and a webcam. Just tell me when.
>>420
Let's all post with tripcodes in this thread.
>>421
Perhaps you are a rat!
>>425
(☝ίΝί)☝ This guy! "Seppaku!" Listen to this guy, and his jokes!
>>425
I promise that I tried really hard, but committing seppuku with Sonic is impossible. It really just is. You should try it out yourself.
>>425
I agree it's more fun if everybody puts in effort to keep up with the demands. However, you can't realistically expect too much from the average lazy DQNer. I am a little sad that nobody spent time on my demand to make something creative. But such is DQN.
>>428
I was actually about to do that when the next guy posted. I was going to make a crude 10 minute MS paint drawing of Espeon on a bicycle. In retrospect, I'm happy that I didn't because my MS paint drawings are quite a bit below the average quality of an average MS paint drawing.
We should have some almost-oekaki exchange thread, but we'd be too lazy to post in it and it'd die.
>>428 I saw your post and was disappointed that there were three posts after you, because I would have put a lot of effort into a 10 minute creative piece for you.
I often tag my creations with DQN on various content hosting sites...
(@PtP;) Thank you for telling me about the super fun party that you didn't invite me to. Really, interesting stuff.
If I were to move into a large house with 5-8 other /jp/ anons in it, how fucked would I be?
>>433
As someone who has lived with three other nerds/otaku, I can say this has the potential to be, as these things are wont, either really awesome or really awkward. There was an implicit respect of intellect and personal boundaries which formed an almost familial relation between us all, comfortable as we were around one another. Everyone enjoyed anime, online games, MTG, science, technology, and when one found something particularly witty or interesting online, he could blurt it out expecting rapt appreciation from all present.
But, as >>434 notes, we were horrendously unkempt. Dishes and discarded food packaging cluttered every free surface, picked up only on absentminded impulse. A woman, one roommates sister, was present at times and would clean whenever she felt it necessary (which fortunately was a lot more often than us). Everything in the sink was cleaned weekly by each resident in turn, yet till then the kitchen resembled some post-apocalyptic smorgasbord of ceramic, glass and plastic.
And so, knowing that, would you still take the chance?

Dear PeTA:
You haven't changed my mind at all and thanks for the picture.
I had mephedrone last night for the first time in like a year last night, completely out of the blue. And I just got 3 pretty good job offers today. And a beautiful young lady is travelling 300 miles to fuck me in a couple of weeks.
I wish I could share my joy with some of the dokyuns here who I think could do with some~
My, she certainly pulled off that fairy look really well.
I am doing well so far in not eating today. It was mostly because I am NEET that I managed to shave off six of those hours, but I will keep this up and enjoy my cold dinner at 12 A.M./00:00.
>>433
I give it 3 days before the house fills up with used tissues and encrusted ona-holes.
Oh my god, that last poster in the Demanding from the next poster thread, that was beautiful!
I've successfully completed the challenge of not eating for an entire day.
>>436
I love these campaigns. I sort of feel like I should stop eating meat out of gratitude, but it's so darn tasty.
My girlfriend's period is a week late. It's probably because of the stress of moving to a new country and getting a new and tiring job but that doesn't stop me from being extremely worried~
Damn, talk about out of my league...
Everyone seems to make such quality posts in the demanding thread...I'm afraid to post there...
I haven't been DQN in such a long time... I wonder what happened in the past 500 days.
My classmates are idorts.
>>450
If by quality, you mean that I spend 3592359 paragraphs trying to explain something then sure...
On a side note, my cycling route was amazing. Going out is fun sometimes. You should all try it!
>>454
I had much less of an aversion to going outside and taping that Haruhi drawing to an inanimate child because I had to bike around a park to get to it :3
Is it just me, or are we DQNs a lot different from the people who post on the other boards? Just browse the personal and culture boards... who are these people?
>>459 This is my favourite thread because I like to think what kind of person would be a regular poster on /dqn/, it seems to be a small pool of very odd individuals. Some things people say here, on one hand scares me a little sometimes, but on the other hand I like to think we would share some sort of camaraderie.
To be honest I've never actually explored anywhere else on 4-ch.net, so I might use your post as an excuse to.
god i haven't been here since forever
DQN makes me smile
>>459
I personally post on the other boards, but not often. Perhaps each board is assigned one regular user and only he/she posts there? It would make sense given the lack of traffic.
I sort of understand what you mean though. Some of the other boards have quite regular posts like those you would find in a `normal' discussion board. And that's okay!
Continuations are a low-level Hourai elixir.
>>462 Of course, I'd consider myself one of those odd individuals haha, I dread to think someone I know IRL would stumble across this board and recognise some of the things I've said.
I'm just a simple NEET, don't mind me ( LΦ`)
The other boards are pretty slow and boring compared to /dqn/ but they aren't all bad. In fact four years ago /love/ actually helped me get my first girlfriend.
The thread is 1173252727. Ah, I was such a young and immature fool back then. It's extremely embarrassing to go back and read it.
Anyway, for anybody curious about the end of that story, we stayed together for over two years, then we "took a break" while she went to study abroad, and that's where it ended.
Is this real? I kind of want to believe the queen actually did that...
Haha I want to know what Morrissey thinks
I'm not sure if I'm happy being a creeper.
>>469
How are you a creeper? Tell us about creepy things you do in as much detail as possible. You're anonymous here, so cut out details that could personally identify yourself and others, but go wild besides that.
I haven't caught a rat all week. All of my disgusting little friends may have gone to infest the big garden shed in the sky.
It feels like my life lacks purpose all of a sudden. Is it too corny to call it empty rat nest syndrome?
>>471
Everyone does that.
I feel like shit. I've been feeling like shit for the past 24 hours.
>>472
I don't enjoy sexual pleasure, actually. Is this normal?
>>474
I bet the Pope masturbates.
Just think of that every time you are tempted. That old German troll just looking you in the eyes while he does it with that creepy-ass "smile."
You can thank me later.
>>474
If you don't enjoy it, then why do you call it pleasure? Say "I don't enjoy orgasm" instead, maybe.
>>479
I demand that you write the DQN time at the time of reading on your stomach. Get a camera and record yourself masturbating.
>>476
Excitation of the nerve endings in such a case is just commonly called pleasure. I suppose I could have said, "I don't like the penile excitation of nerve endings". But that would have sounded silly.

Guess what's on the FRONT PAGE of the Wall Street Journal, guys...
>BERKELEY, Calif. -- Fifteen young men in this hotbed of activism gathered at an Indian restaurant on a recent Sunday and made an appeal: Could the waiter please switch from the news to "My Little Pony"?
>Then the men heaped their plates with curry and clustered around tables to absorb the Pony cartoon, share trivia about characters and play show-and-tell with the various plastic Pony toys they had brought along.
>Meet the self-described "bronies."
This isn't the weekly independent. Fuck no, this is the WALL STREET JOURNAL. What is going on?
>>485
A bunch of fags are doing a bunch of stupid shit because they can and trying to force some stupid shit onto other people. It's only a matter of time till these cock suckers get taken down for being annoying, stupid fucks that need to die.

WSJ Story continued...
>It wasn't supposed to be this way. When Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Communications Inc. revived the "My Little Pony" franchise on a new network called The Hub, an executive told investors the remake was for "the three- to six-year old girl and her mom, ho has fond memories of 'My Little Pony' from her childhood."
>...In an email, a Hasbro spokeswoman said of the bronies: "From what we've seen, they are a small group of 'My Little Pony' fans who don't necessarily fit what one might expect of the brand's target audience."
lol
>Some bronies disdain Hasbro's Pony figurines, which they find too commercial and not "show accurate." A pet peeve: On TV, Princess Celestia is a heavenly white, but the toy is cotton-candy pink. So the bronies frequently buy unofficial merchandise including treasures such as pipe-cleaner Ponies.
beyond the land of lol
Just imagine, most of these guys were poking fun at otakus just a little more than a year ago.
I think they're trying to transcend irony by creating an infinite loop of it.
>>488
Huh. I'm starting to understand how people can think we're so pathetic just for enjoying anime.
>>491 don't you feel pathetic watching anime? I always do, i just don't mind it
>>491
Hey, I'm better than these people! It's not like I go to meetups... except for all those conventions... hmm. And it's not like I spend money on it... except for all this shit on my wal--FUCK!
Well, at least cumming on figures of cute anime girls is less creepy than doing it to ponies.
Plus, cleaning their manes afterwards must be one hell of a job for those guys. Probably they enjoy it the same way some people love using rifles: shoot them, clean them.
I work with horses for a living and how anyone can find them cute is beyond me.
When did horses become girly anyway? They're very functional animals that were used by knights and cowboys. Next we'll be making plush toys of bears.

I love reading "Is this a <character_name>?.." comments on
rule34 sites. They have that unique "Now I've seen
everything!" feel. The first thing that comes to my mind is,
"No, no you haven't, bro." But I wisely keep it to myself,
that youngster will discover it on his own.
Stop talking about "magical powder" here, you're going to bring the cops down on us!
also, >>500GETTO
I might be getting an Onee-sama`♥
This is great as I've never had a sister type relationship with my real sister since she hated me and abused me as a kid.
I might be getting ahead of myself, but I'm a little excited.
I was recently reading something and saw the word "brainstorming." My brain wackyparsed it as "branstorming." This can only mean I'm not getting a well-balanced breakfast. ~_~;
Started writing a song today called I Cut My Willy Off With A Stained-Glass Window Shard (Once In A Lifetime)
