Somebody had to restart this thread. I hope it's okay if I do it.
You aren't mad at me, are you?
>>342
What is the most unusual non-sexual fantasy you have ever had?
>>345
But I just woke up!
>347
If the planet had for some reason needed to be locked perpetually to one season, which would you choose?
>>346
Wouldn't axial tilt lock it into two seasons (one per hemisphere)? Anyway, I'd probably go with spring because it has the most bearable temperatures, though long-term effects on the ecosystem I can't even begin to speculate about.
>>348
What historical event would you like to change? How and why would you change it, and how do you think this would change the present?
>>347
As for me, I'd like to meddle with the potty-pioneers. Wikipedia tells me that the English invented our style of toiletry in 1880. No inventor is mentioned. I'd like to make any change possible to ensure the west poops in a manner as kawaii and refined as in the east, even if Japanese don't use squat toilets all that much anymore.
>>348
How do I stop getting distracted by video games, /dqn/ and anime long enough to live a studious, virile and healthy life?
>>348
One thing that I find helps a lot is to not have your PC running 24/7, or if you need it for your studies etc, create a separate user account on your OS which can access only homework- and productivity-related applications.
>>350
What is your favourite recent (less than 25 years old) cover of a song from the first half of the 20th century? Post YouTube links if you can find them!
>>349
This is more of a remix than a cover, but I love Venetian Snares' take on "Gloomy Sunday":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QAqJAfBjN8
It's rare for an idm track to have such a well-crafted buildup / climax / denouement.
(PS: Youtube sound quality is shit so try to find a hi-fi version somewhere.)
>>351
How much power does music have over your emotions?
>>359
My Sunday is just ending - I cleaned a bunch and rearranged my room, I'm pretty happy with it. Now I'm making rolled cabbage but I'm worried I put too much toubanjan in the soup (it's gonna be hella spicy!) My plans for tomorrow are to go to work and fuck around on the internet for 8 hours because there's no actual work for me to do the next two days.
>>361
Why do you visit DQN?
>>361
It was cool and meaningful and interesting right up until I was contacted by ghosts (not actually ghosts, but demons). No sirree, nothing but that good old religion for me now.
Ave Caesar!
>>363
363 is a palindrome. 363/3 = 121, also a palindrome. 121/11=11, also a palindrome. That's three palindromic prime factors! How lucky does this make you feel, >>363?
>>373
A Wii controller.
>375
Do you believe there is intelligent life (in any "form") besides us that exists in this vast universe?
>>375
Assuming I get a choice of when to use it, and unless an ethically superior cause comes along before I get around to it, betting large sums on the results of several sports events would be my choice.
>>377
What discontinued snack food do you wish they'd start making again? Naming several is fine too.
>>390
No! I suppose it would be an interesting experience though, but I don't foresee myself wanting to get into a relationship (a man living alone in a basement has no chance of adopting) or going out of my way to earn more money to support another human being. I'm struggling to provide for myself as it is!
>>392
What is your fondest memory from when you were 7?
>>404
I never tried to learn Esperanto because I'm not sure what its for. I learned LISP but didn't read SICP. Lisp doesn't have a lot of good libraries, so it's difficult to accomplish anything in it.
>>406
Do any countries speak Esperanto or is it just a made up language? If you were forced to write an OEL-ish manga in a language other than English or Esperanto what would it be about and what language would you write it in.
>>408
Tea, definitely. I love more or less all types of tea, especially green tea. Can't even remember the last time I had coffee. More importantly, the person behind me feels it is his solemn duty to inform you that millipedes are myriapods, not insects.
>>410
If you owned a dungeon, what sorts of things would you have in it?
>>412
Hard to choose, there are so many bad TV shows. One that comes to mind is Deal or No Deal, the premise is just so utterly stupid it makes my head hurt. Bachelor/Bachelorette style reality shows are pretty painful to watch too.
I don't actually watch many TV shows, so I guess the least favourite TV show that I actually watch is Modern Family, it's frustratingly predictable and always plays it safe.

Having just explored a rainforest a couple days ago, I'd have to say the valleys (if there are any). I think it looks really cool and mysterious to look down into a rainforest going down into a deep valley.
>>415
If you had $1000 for a vacation, where would you go and what would you do?
>>421
Hard to choose. I liked >>123's question because I'm very curious for the same reason. I'll ask it again!
>>423
Are there any forced-registration online forums you know whose atmosphere is not ruined by popularity circle jerks? (Besides Kingdom of Loathing, which has already been mentioned.) If so, where can they be found?
>>422
I like Twitter a lot. A handful of DQNs are on there. It's the only place I really visit other than a few smaller IRC channels and text/imageboards. I suppose Reddit doesn't really have circlejerks, but the downside is that it's full of Redditors.
>>424
What's your Twitter username/any other DQNs you know of on the site? I need to follow more DQNs but I don't really know who's on it. I know of @disassemblyline, @FountainOfElly, @touhou_fan, @dysrexia, and @captaindangus for certain... but it's hard to know.
>>433
Once or twice, mostly was scared that I'd go through with it when too sleep-deprived to think it through.
>>428
4chan /soc/, mostly the Vocaroo threads because I like to sing-a and read-a. Also /d/ for the occasional trap image dumps.
>>435
Do you enjoy singing? If so, ever uploaded anything to Vocaroo, Audioboo or the like? Do you have another semi-public outlet?
>>435
There are about 6 DQN regular posters. About two of these were invited to Darkpa's Garden Party. Plus crossover between SAoVQ and /lounge/.
There are about 10-15 /jp/ and /Bun/ shitposters. More disturbingly, 1 or 2 normalfags from /soc/ and 99chan.
>>437
Post a tsukimi-boke gag of your own creation.
