Oh I do mind, >>1-san.

I mind.

Why do the threads close at 999? Would it not be much cooler for it to end at 1000?

5 Name: ( ˃ ヮ˂) : 1993-09-6788 17:34

I'm very sorry, >>3-sama. It won't happen again. Unless you're making a joke about me dropping the [Brains] tag, in which case never mind.

That's exactly why, to avoid a rush for the >>1000GET. Of course, people still fight over >>999, but arguably less so.

Well, that went unreasonably well.

This. My brain is very "meta" and I constantly try to outguess myself. It's very silly.

I think it's Black Leichee Tea. I found it in a Asian food market.
Also good for you for knowing Chinese. I wish I was not so lazy that I don't bother to learn other languages.

Isn't that synonymous with social anxiety? I think you should post in one of these three places, if at all. And you probably shouldn't.

If Omegle has taught me anything about foreign culture, it's that Indians really respect a person who knows about mathematics and engineering. And to them, apparently, I am "Mr. Perfect" because I am also proficient in several instruments and can solve a Rubik's Cube in less than a minute.

You should marry a beautiful Indian woman with a doctorate degree and a rich family. They usually post personal ads in Indian newspapers.

I cannot understand this post at all. "Like" is capitalised yet "what" is not, and the only IR I know of is infra-red. I suppose it's supposed to say "What should I do if I like a girl on IR?" or something like that.

And for your crimes against the Japanese language, you should feel bad. Are you a necrophiliac, or is your beloved an inaqnimate object? If not, ある should be replaced by いる. Also, たくさん is only used with discretely quantifiable things. I am not aware of any such scale for infatuation. Lastly, if your first line was meant to form a complete sentence, it's missing a だ after 大好き.

In all honesty, I think the Wapanese crowd is cool. At least, some of 'em. Not the Kawaii Morning type, but Japanese learners like in this thread and people who are truly fascinated by Japan. However, that's all nonsense. I wish anonymous texboards would take off here as well. Imagine if 4-ch got as much traffic as 2ch. That'd be great. I don't understand why textboards and even internet anonymity aren't popular in the US. Maybe Americans are too individualistic?

Yeah, that's what I mean. The framework is all there. Hell, the websites are already there. I have no problem with ordinary people coming to 4-ch as long as they don't act like idiots. It happens already on the Personal boards.
My only reservation would be if 4-ch turned into 4chan, and the signal-to-noise ratio decreased as it became too "normal" and mainstream. Part of 4-ch's charm at the moment is that it's slow, but the posts are generally entertaining.
