I fondly remember being a 13-year-old Runescape noob and noticing that somebody was selling lobsters 10 times cheaper than the usual price. I bought as many as I could afford and sold them for a profit over the next hour. I felt like a fucking mercantile genius but in retrospect the profit was tiny and I could probably have made more money by just doing quests.

you know what? if you want fatasses to lose weight, you don't need to tell them about how literally every health problem they're experiencing will get better, because they've heard it all before and it didn't impact them then, obviously they don't care that much

here it is:

your dick will look bigger. not just look bigger but actually be bigger and have more useable length, since it's not half-buried in blubber anymore. you'll probably gain about an inch for every 10% of bodyfat you drop.

it (or possibly with the word "with", i don't remember) isn't a common phrase, even if the sentiment is. If you cook up an aphorism yourself it should be kinda like that, yeah?

356 Name: (*゚ー゚) : 1993-09-9213 00:15

I hate to be the guy that brings out the dictionary definition, but I feel that it's actually pretty relevant considering it's about usage of a word, so here goes:

sin noun (1)
\ˈsin\
1
a : an offense against religious or moral law

b : an action that is or is felt to be highly reprehensible it's a sin to waste food

c : an often serious shortcoming : fault

So there you go, there's evidence for usage outside of a religion.

357 Name: (*゚ー゚) : 1993-09-9213 00:19

I think it's worth adding that christianity and christian eschatology has a deep influence on what we deem is "western culture", including secular lifestyle, so you not only have secular people using the word "sin" outside of a strictly religious context, you also have atheists celebrating Christmas, of all things, because who doesn't like getting presents?
