For the past couple days there's been an odd smell in the staircase of my apartment complex, like a musty old hamster cage. I didn't think much of it but this afternoon I found out that my downstairs neighbor had died some time ago and only just been found this morning. The windows were open and it's been around 30c/90f all week, I can't even imagine what it looked like. Jesus fucking Christ.
Hate the cuck, not the cucker
Is VIP quality that big of a deal in Japan?
Why do so many people call orange juice OJ but no one calls apple juice AJ? Because AJ is a name? Counter point, one of the most famous murders of our time is called OJ
The bride cannot be found.
Under those conditions, would you assist your cousin's father in his effort to manually bring a horse to climax?
Chris Farley would have made an awesome Batman.
He had a frequency detector. You know, one of those things that detects anything with a period?

>>338 I am going to have to ask you to correct your post to "most famous alleged murderers", Mr. Simpson was found innocent by a jury of his peers more than 20 years ago.

I went through this exact procedure last week. Good to know I'm not alone.
I know enough to be curious as to what wikipedia's policy on simplified vs traditional characters is but not enough to just go read what said policy is.

I wonder if my nignog neighbors who were playing loud rap music earlier would appreciate it if I played loud lolicore now that it's midnight.
I bought the cheapest hair gel to try to tame my messy hair but it just makes it stiff and smell strong. I feel really self-conscious.

When Einstein said "Two things are infinite the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.", he didn't even have YouTube.
The future. Just picture it. An infinite span of time, holding infinite possibility, which you stand on the very boundary of. Every action you commit now (right now!) is weaving threads of that future into the immutable reality of the past. It's terrifying, isn't it? There's something visceral about the whole thing, like vertigo. Reality shouldn't change like that, and yet it does, continuously.
We make plans, predictions, as though the future were just like the present - with everything immediate and certain - as though our minds simply can't cope with the nature of the future. Similarly, people still fight the battle of free will vs. determinism as though it makes a difference; either way, the future is the same vast, inscrutable, unknowable abyss it ever was.
And just imagine what might still be to come! Every record broken, every precedent defied, every expectation exceeded. The great wheel of human civilisation spinning ever faster, advancing ever further, leaving ever more crushed in its path. Nothing will ever be the same. The future is right in front of us. It starts at the end of this sentence and it goes on forever.
The future, the future, the future, the future, the future...

Not long ago in a supermarket, I saw a sign in the pharmacy section:
STOP SMOKING
DIABETIC SUPPLIES
And I thought, "Who smokes diabetic supplies to begin with?"

I wish there was a cute young girl in my life. Not for any kind of sexual reason, but it's hard to describe. Like an energetic girl like a little sister or a daughter would brighten the place up the same way an arrangement of pretty and radiant flowers would.

I think literally the only reason Portugal wasn't integrated into Spain at some point is because they speak Portuguese
>>414
Have you ever been trapped in a bee suit? I didn't think so.
juts remember!
>>423 They didn't "separate" because they were never really together. A long time ago there were several Christian kingdoms in the north of the Iberian peninsula while the south was ruled by Muslim Moors, and Portugal was just one of them. Over the next few centuries the Christian kingdoms slowly fought their way southward and pushed the Moors out of the peninsula, and a kingdom called Castille came out of it in the best shape and absorbed most of the other kingdoms, eventually becoming Spain, but the Portuguese allied with England and resisted being integrated into Castille.
My poop this morning was pretty nice
>>421 I don't think a different language has ever stopped a state from absorbing or conquering other states. You can just bring your own language into your new territories, and eventually some of your new subjects will learn it.
>>427 at the same time, the same language has never stopped two states from being two states, either.
At my new house I found a folder of notes from a student who must've lived here two years ago, judging by the dates. It has the name Hailie on the inside, and is mostly economics/business stuff, along with some English notes (it seems she was Chinese). I was just flicking through it out of curiosity, and found, towards the bottom of one of the last pages, written in small, neat letters:
Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss. But every once in a while you find someone who is iridescent, and when you do, nothing will ever compare.
It seemed very poignant until I googled it and it turned out to be from some romance novel.
Also my desk says "MOTT MACDONALD DO NOT REMOVE", which didn't seem poignant before or after being googled.
Also also I have no bedding! Literally just a bare mattress to sleep on. Oh well.
