There's a guy living in the apartment building next to mine, who stupidly placed his computer screen across the room from the window, so anyone from outside can see everything he does. I've seen him watch anime, browse forums and play what looks like some sort of MMORPG.
Having a literal window into his life, seeing how he just sits there, staring at the screen with his headphones on, not moving for hours at a time... it's weirdly insightful. I'm considering buying a cheap pair of binoculars.

I went to lemonparty.org to see if it still exists. It does, and whoever runs it overlayed the French flag onto the famous image with the caption "Solidarité." Is it a genuine show of support, or is it a tasteless joke? Is it a commentary on the shallow people who post flags on social media to look like they care? Is it saying that everyone, no matter what they do or are known for should speak up when something like this happens? Is it the first seasonal lemon party, or have I missed dozens over the years?

So, cats are alive in Fallout 4 even though lore had it that cats didn't survive the war, aren't they?

Were they preserved in some Vaults? If so, how masterful the overseer had to be to avoid catsplosion or a potential tantrum spiral of vault dwellers?

With all of the myriad things to be good at, it's inevitable that many different people will in fact be the best at something or other. Does knowing that you are indeed the best constitute narcissism regardless of its verity?

While >>98 was mostly a joke, I'll try to give you a serious reply. I'm not a psychologist or a philosopher so I don't really know the answer, but I'll give you my thoughts.

For your question, if you have proof that you are the best at some competition or skill, then yes you could recognize this and still manage to live humbly. For the post I made, I was referring to thinking you are better than other people overall without any reference to a particular competition or skill. I've noticed some people only intellectually recognize that they aren't the best but still act as if they were. My joke was that much like how alcoholics must recognize their problem in order to cure it, narcissists must also recognize that they think they are the best in order to recover. In the end, it was a stupid joke that didn't really convey what I was thinking.

I'm not sure if I'm right about this, but I think there are quite a few people who fake interest in sports for one reason or another. I like to imagine that by some chance a whole sports viewing party could have been arranged that was composed only of these kinds of people. Maybe a sports fanatic arranges a party but ends up not being able to attend, leaving a group of people who can see it in each others' eyes that they don't want to be there, but no one is willing to admit it.

Let's take controversial topic for example. You can either agree or disagree with it. You could take one side or another. In the end, I don't really care because even if you convince me of your side, I'm personally no one important. Not to say you shouldn't bother other people about it. Just remember if you find yourself trying to appeal to useless people like me, you might be useless yourself.

If everybody who says "I don't vote because my vote won't make a difference" voted, they would make a difference. Since there's no good way to coordinate these people, the only decision I can make is whether I vote or not. And if I decide to vote, it won't make a difference.

150 Name: (*゚ー゚) : 1993-09-8121 17:58

Voting is a part of a process even if the vote is rigged. When everybody votes for one guy and the other guy wins, then people in that country know something fucky is up. This would show that revolution is needed.

The only sensations it gave to me were pain in my knees and disappointment at how slow I am. Pain went away in a few weeks and was probably caused by improper sitting position and moving my feet too far forward when I ran.
