You might want to limit yourself to the most popular calibres with good weight/effective power ratio since you would want to carry more. Guns that you don't use will be a dead weight on you. I wouldn't buy a new gun unless it's to arm a friend or a family member in case of emergency... or it is a gun of my dreams.
