Bacteria is also a potential problem there (since the contact keeps some of it there, unlike if you just get some in your eyes). AFAIK the only thing you ought wash a contact with is lens solution, and even then, while the odds are good that it's fine, it's probably not worth the stakes that it might not be.

If you are familiar with the kind of clickbait drivel it's copipe'd from, though, the odds are also good that there aren't a whole lot of people actually doing something that bad. Not to put too fine a point on it, but sometimes it seems to me that the writers and readers of this sort of crap have a burning need to confirm that someone out there is dumber than them. (Nonetheless, there are other mind-blowingly dangerous things people frequently do with contacts... you won't BELIEVE what happens next.)
