Thanks for the condescending tone. Same can be said for the US, going from having working conditions worse than what made Russians shoot their tsar to sending a man to the moon in the span of a human lifetime was quite an achievement.

The main reason for this is that any forced regime change is at least a step back — see the 90s for ex-Soviet republics, where maidans got Ukraine for recent events or Arab Spring for somewhere else in the world.
