I'm glad that ended quickly and peacefully.
Solemn grey mountains of melancholy, wrapped in a hazy mist of video games.
Was it one of you chaps here who mentioned Sora No Shita Yane No Naka? I'm almost finished it and I'm enjoying it, I can really relate.
I'm very inebriated today.

Positively sordid.
I just talked to someone who bought the Nexus 5 based solely on voice recognition. It was pretty hard to suppress my nerd anger.
They're falling out.
I used to think about such beautiful things.

The sad part is, I've seen people do this and they immediately start getting off. Yet I so much as look at a girl, and I'm "creepy".
Attractive/sociable/neurotypical people need to check their privilege.

That's actually quite a substantial amount of cake.
>>282 expecting someone to remember an ad campaign from twenty years ago, when most of us weren't even ten, is asking a lot.
Then again, I remember TGIF and all those stupid anti-drug ads with the girl who fries an egg and makes an analogy of what your brain is like when you're on drugs.
>>284 it was also a joke, I'm such a joker.
I don't know what TGIF is, all I could think of is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrkPUhLz8TY

I'm so very jealous. Why must my pants remain cold and catless?
Trying to go forwards a few words in vim but you're accidentally in insert mode.
wwwwwww
One thing I never got about vim: since it's supposed to be quick with the common commands at your finger tips, why do you have to press ESC all the way at the corner of the keyboard to switch to command mode?
>>312
You can hit ^C if you like.
I think you're looking at it the wrong way though: command mode is the default, not insert. Hitting escape in insert mode makes sense, because you're escaping back to the default mode.
It's only far away because there's nothing else more appropriate, since all nearby keys insert a character in insert mode.
You could remap a key you don't use with :imap f ^C
(that's ctrl-V ctrl-C). Assuming you don't use the f key, that is.
Buoyant in strange mediums.
>>313
If you don't use the f key you're doing it slow. Just swap caps lock and escape in your OS.
For terminal based text editors, I don't understand why people work with such complicated things like Vim. I just use Nano. It's practically the same as gEdit or Scratch but in the terminal, so you can do cool things like use it over ssh.
>>312
You're supposed to remain in normal mode most of the time. Insert mode is for inserting text.
I want to mine.
