How this game works is that we have a map of the world (blank one here:
http://i.imgur.com/SIEou.jpg) with certain countries grouped together into unions. Each person playing takes control of one union and gives it a name (e.g. Kimchi Alliance, New Manchurian Liberation Cause, that sort of thing). Your objective is to TAKE OVER THE WORLD by any means possible!
To do things, just post a comment saying what you're trying to do and I'll say what effect it has. Examples would be attack [place], enforce conscription, drill for oil at [place] and export it to [place], research mind control. Non-serious commands are fine too.
If you're playing, post once in this thread to say so so that I know how many unions to set up. You may wish to post with a temporary tripcode for obvious reasons. I'm looking for somewhere between 4 and 8 players, so I might invite some VIPPERs...
I would like to use North Coreas and Chinas massive amounts of near-slave workers to start creating atomic bombs. (Is that different from a nuke?)
>>65
I'd love to help you, I'm sure ESPEONLAND has a fair amount of radioactive minerals. (I think that nuke = nuclear weapon = atomic bomb)
Eek send bombers out to drop bombs on the bomb factories of Grey's World!
Oh yeah the party, all are invited, bring your friends, no weapons or killing like that Christmas in the war when britain played football with germany. I'm not going to say no to anything, so if backrubs happen then backrubs happen, let's have fun

Espeonland and Grey's World have taken all of Scandinavia, although they still have no rail route via which to retreat or bring in reinforcements. Andyland's troops are coming very close to invading Russia. If they take control of Western Russia (all major cities) then the rest of it is theirs as well.
>>63All policies are adopted without issue. Results of the diplomatic observation of Madagascartown are inconclusive, but there are reports of a shady cabal rising to power in the North.
>>64It isn't unclaimed! Just lacking a leader. If nobody claims it by tomorrow, I shall take control of it. A few disclaimers:
I will not ally with anyone.
All dice rolls (deciding outcomes of battles etc.) will be biased against me.
It is inevitable that this union will be invaded and destroyed, it's just a question of how and by whom.
>>65-67Intensive nuclear weapon construction has begun somewhere in China. Raw materials are being sourced from Kazakhstan, as it possesses large deposits of uranium and has not suffered the same level of nuclear bombing as Russia.
Construction is having to be kept top secret in order to avoid detection by Andyland, which hampers progress. Five nuclear weapons are being constructed. Espeonland currently has five and Grey's World still has all ten.
At the current rate of construction, they will be ready next Monday. You may choose to speed up the rate of construction by shedding your secrecy, but this will leave your factories open to being bombed.
>>68You cannot bomb them because you don't know where they are being constructed.
>>69I shall attend, despite the risk of grossly inappropriate shoulder massages.
>>70
Here is yer damn rail route
http://i.imgur.com/MASXc.jpg
Also I recall all my troups and stuff from scandinavia seeing as how me and Sir uh oh are done captureing it. Also on our way out I have my bomber fly over the boarder with Andyland and carpet bomb that shit to weaken and boarder defenses they have. That's what those red dots are.
Question about the map, whats that white space in Espeonland? White is not any player color.
> It isn't unclaimed! [...] If nobody claims it by tomorrow, [...]
So is it claimed, or isn't it? If it's not, I would like to claim it. I'd also like to begin an invasion of Eastern Europe while I'm at it--Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and Lithuania are my targets.
>>71
You've done really well with that train route! Thanks for helping. And thanks a lot for helping with the situation to the west. Would you like any of my nukes? That white, I'm guessing that the white area represents empty, dead land...
The white land is Scotland, Ireland and Wales, who voted for independence at the start of the game
I assume what the GM means is that a new player can claim it, and if not then he'll play it as a dummy for us to dismember. More equitable than giving the entire thing to whoever calls shotgun.
Phase 2 of Plan Turtle:
# Increased funding to military recruitment. (Advertising campaigns, school visits, etc.)
# Continued transfer of all but a few military members to the gigantic military base along the Thai-Indonesia border.
# More nuclear weapons development - you can never have enough.
# Funding to research advanced technology to detect incoming nukes or other threats far in advance and accurately shoot them down.
# Development of all other resources, as always, should stay unchanged. My people know how to handle that stuff better than I do, after all.
As for the party, the All-knowing Unnamed Dictator of the Oceaniac Union would like to send a stunt double in his absence, since he's no good with these social things.
MESSAGE TO ALL WORLD LEADERS: (To be read in an Aussie accent)
The Oceanic Union would like to proudly announce the successful creation of a deadly new disease called the Downunder Syndrome. Only we have the antidote. Also we also have a bunch of nukes. So don't invade us and we won't invade you, mate.
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/jIRvv.jpg
>>71Your revised map is a little confusing. What's with all the unnecessary greater than signs? And why are you suggesting that it's nineteen years in the future? Never mind that. The rail link has successfully been reconstructed, and you have begun evacuating your troops from the Scandinavian peninsula.
The carpet bombing causes a fair amount of damage, but you are unable to target any major military installations due to their anti-air defences. You are, however, successful in killing a significant number of the troops stationed nearest to the Russian border. Espeonland has successfully reclaimed Belarus.
On the map, white represents any area which is unclaimed, uninhabited or independent; basically anywhere which isn't under the control of one of the players.
>>72What
>>74 said is exactly what I intended. Apologies if that wasn't clear.
>>75Your most recent batch of nuclear weapons is complete, bringing you to a total of eighteen. You have another four currently being constructed. The nuclear defence research is in its initial stages. It involves lots of lasers.
And finally, as promised, I have taken control of the former Madagascartown. It is henceforth to be known as the Citadel of Nurupo. My first actions as emperor are as follows:
Begin immediate construction of nuclear weapons (I currently have none).
Focus on development of naval forces. Construct more ships, recruit and train more sailors.
Enforce conscription in every nation under my command.
Declare war on Grey's World, prepare for an invasion of India.
Nuclear policy update: peace is guaranteed only through mutually assured destruction. Missile defense threatens that, and therefore can be considered offensive weaponry. Therefore, the Front may initiate limited thermonuclear war with parties which bring on-line effective missile defense systems.
We played a rock-paper-scissors tournament to determine who would get to be the official delegation of the Committee to the party, Secretary van Leeuwen won. She would like to know what the dress code is.
The Coördinating Committee of the MLMLBNPLF promulgates the Fourth Five Year Plan, summarized as follows:
To the MLMLBNPLF Coordinating Committee:
That is a silly nuclear policy. Wouldn't you favor one that results in less loss of life rather than more? How about a mutually assured neutralization of all missiles, where every country uses a defensive system? Not that the Oceanic Union cares, because there is no such system in development here anyway.
Sincerely,
The Oceanic Union
(Future developments of our "non-existent" missile defense system are carried out in utter secrecy.)
To His/Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Oceanic Union:
No.
Hugs and kisses,
Coördinating Committee, MLMLBNPLF
I would like to form an alliance with Your Excellency, Tomás Rodríguez 'el Bigotón' Ruíz Iglesias. If we work together with grey, we can purge Eurasian-Africa of ANDYLAND and the Citadel of Nuropo will crumble. As an offer of good will, I would like to invite both You and Lord Grey to TEA in an undisclosed location to discuss strategics. If You, gracious sir, accept the offer of alliance, You may have 3 of my nuclear weapons of mass destruction, and while we are on good terms, I will allow You to capture the former north-eastern portion of ESPEONLAND (currently WHITE and UNCLAIMED). As You can see from the MAP, it is the area closest to The Moon -- I am sure that The Moon would be of great strategic importance for its cultural significance and location alone.
don't do it, man
Do it, man. We'll be the best of friends!
You've already got a formidable alliance which is on the rise. Enlarging it could disrupt the balance of power enough to trigger a world war. That's not in my interest (yet), so I'm going to have to respectfully decline.
I begin to assemble blimps. HEUG BIMPS.
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/s76h1.jpg
In spite of the recent carpet bombing, Andyland has made an unexpected advance into Russia. They have reached the outskirts of Moscow, which is still mostly in ruins. Andyland and Espeonland have come to somewhat of a stalemate in Moscow with neither side able to take complete control of the city.
The Citadel of Nurupo has begun the attempted invasion of India, taking control of Mumbai. The attack was very quick and there were few casualties on either side. Raw materials and military equipment have been seized and taken back to the mainland of the Citadel. All serviceable ships have been requisitioned and added to our navy.
>>77Suitcase nukes are easy enough to construct, but there is a considerable trade-off between size and yield, which is to say that suitcase nukes will do a lot less damage. Your training exercises are ubiquitously met with great success and will prove helpful in any future conflicts.
>>78The research is still being done in secret, but the actual implementation of the system will be impossible to conceal.
>>83Good on you! This sort of game is no fun if you just have one huge alliance dominating the world. I'd strongly recommend against anyone forming alliances involving more than two unions.
>>84Blimps are under construction. They will be good for dropping bombs, but slow and extremely vulnerable without sufficient backup.
>>85
I send in MY ENTIRE ARMY into Mumbai. And I do mean all of it.
I drop a nuke on Mumbai when they get there
Oh no ;_;
No point updating the map; all that has changed is that Mumbai is no longer occupied by the Citadel. The stalemate in Moscow continues unabated and no land in Eastern Europe changes hands.
>>86You attempt to cram several hundred thousand soldiers into a single city. Many are confined to temporary slums on the outskirts. It takes more than a week for troops to arrive from the US and remote colonies in South-East Asia, but they all get there eventually.
At the first signs of military mobilisation, the Citadel's forces retreat the everloving fuck out of Mumbai. Nonetheless, some are caught off guard and killed.
>>87Your attack decimates Grey's World's forces. Actually, "decimated" means killing one in ten; this was more like nine in ten. The few that survive are mostly unfit to fight. Civilian losses are similarly astronomical (Mumbai had a population of almost 12,500,000). You have eight nuclear bombs remaining.
The Citadel of Nurupo is planning a campaign to raid all of Grey's World's major port towns in a similar style to the recent attack of Mumbai. The proposed targets are:
Bangkok
Hong Kong
Shanghai
Tokyo
This will require our navy to pass through Indonesia, which is heavily militarised by the Oceanic Union. A request has been sent to The All-Knowing Unnamed Dictator of the Oceaniac Union for safe passage of our ships.
D-damn it! We're getting slaughtered, Grey! If only that !!qj+wHGtn guy would have joined us as our allies... ;__; All of this tragedy could have been prevented... If you can, move your people a bit inland from the ports and be prepared to fire a few nukes. That way, you can take out a lot of their forces while protecting your borders with nuclear fallout. I would like to send my trains far east to aide in the evacuation programs.
Tomás Rodríguez 'el Bigotón' Ruíz Iglesias:
My offer to form an alliance still stands. Both Grey and I have faced a lot of hardships over the course of this game. Hopefully you can see the inhumanity that Nuropo and ANDY have displayed and you can can sympathize a bit. I'm willing to listen to any of your demands in exchange for your aide in war--you have proven to be a great leader and no demand of yours is too much.
I would like to send half of my armed forces on my trains to grey's secret military complex in the heart of China. Along with that I would like to send two nukes. Meanwhile, I hope to send a quarter of my soldiers to the western borders of Espeonland to force out recent invaders--if we attack Ukraine first, it should be quite easy to surround the yellow army surrounding Moscow. I'd like to send another quarter to the far east in preparations to capture the land closest to THE MOON.
If possible, I would like Espeonland's leading scientists (the ones who are not working on the nuclear weapons project, anyway) to begin reviving the manned space flight program as well as a program to create very large propulsion systems which utilize nuclear power. Russia has had successful space travel in the past and it has access to a large number of raw materials -- how long would it take until our spaceships and a number of very large rockets to be ready? If possible, all work should be done deep underground in an undisclosed location.
>>1, what's the relative military strength in the Russian front?
Hello, I'm Andrew#Andrew and I would like to join this game as a lonely ninja warrior who is wandering across Antarctica. I'd also like to have superior ninja powers, superior ninja senses and superior ninja equipment.
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/aIhLZ.jpg
The construction of nuclear bombs which began back in
>>65 has finally reached completion. These five, along with the two donated by Espeonland, gives Grey's World a total of seventeen nukes. Espeonland itself currently has three.
>>90I feel I ought to remind you of two things: firstly, the white area of East Russia is already yours - the reason it's shown in white is because it's completely uninhabited. Secondly, the moon is orbiting Earth, hence the land closest to the moon is the Equator.
Half of your forces have been sent to China and are now under the command of Grey. The attempted invasion of Ukraine is unsuccessful as only a quarter of your military is involved, whereas at least three quarters of Andyland's military are fighting in the Eastern European front. At the same time, you still retain the land you have held until now.
You currently have no presence whatsoever in Scandinavia. The situation is relatively stable at present, but should there be an uprising, you will have difficulty suppressing it.
A space program would not be too difficult to set up, however there are a few things to consider:
It will require a lot of money and resources which would otherwise be going into your military
Space launches are easier (require less fuel etc) the closer you are to the Equator. As it happens, this is why Russia's space program was conducted in Kazakhstan rather than Russia itself.
Hence, the easiest place to launch from would be China, however you would need your ally's consent and it may be more vulnerable to attacks.
>>91Currently, it's at its weakest in a long time. The ongoing attack of Moscow has incurred heavy losses on both sides of the war. The reason they can still hold their ground is because Andyland is also in a fairly poor state.
>>92Antarctica is now the property of Andrew the Ninja. Anyone wishing to claim Antarctica as their own is invited to duel him in unarmed combat.
>>87
YOU CUNT. That was really well played.
I make the call for all civilians to move more inland away from the boarder with the citadel and away from all coastline. And with the help of the trains (thank you >>90) I assume this will go much faster.
I send as much medical I aid as I can to what used to be Mumbai and to help save and care for what ground forces are still alive.
I put out the call for anyone and anyone who I angered or feels pain or loss from the tragity that is the Mumbai Disaster, to join the army to help build it up again.
I scramble 50% of my air force to go on continuous patrol routes on both of my non-ally boarders, espcially around Indonesia and are ordered to kill-on-sight any and all Andyland forces. Including ships. 40% are send to guard Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. I place 80% of my navy around the nearest sea points to those citys with the same instructions as my air force.
Lastly. I expend 4 of my nukes for use on Andyland. I drop one each on the largest citys in Germany, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Also I drop one more nuke, on the the biggest city in the Citadel of Nurupo.
To the Citadel of Nurupo:
Our current foreign policy is to never let foreign military forces through our borders under any circumstance. However, we might be willing to make an exception if you can make a good offer, such as some of that oil in the good ol' middle east.
Regards,
All-knowing Unnamed Dictator of the Oceanic Union
Also, we decide to Codename our "secret" anti-air defense system AWESOMELASERS.
Big update coming tomorrow. Sit tight until then.
How exciting!
Huge update incoming!
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/EzOUr.jpg
>>94Evacuations are fairly quick and successful, despite the large numbers of people involved and the lack of military. The medical aid is very good; you have medical facilities and personnel designed for an army more than ten times what remains of it. Nonetheless, the vast majority of your original army remains dead.
Your air force patrols do not encounter anything untoward.
You drop nukes on Berlin, Paris, Madrid and London. There are huge civilian losses, especially due to the lack of warning, but very few military losses due to the fact that almost all of Andyland's military is occupied on the Eastern European front. You have also killed some high ranking officials. Your attack has caused considerable damage to their industrial centres.
>>95You drop a nuke on Istanbul. Again, there are large civilian losses but little damage is inflicted to the military or navy.
>>96Due to the outbreak of war threatening our own borders, we have postponed the raid of East Asia. We thank you for your favourable response, and have another proposition for you: we would like to purchase some nuclear weapons. 10,000,000 barrels of oil per nuke, up to a maximum of five nukes.
>>97The Horn of Africa is already occupied and thoroughly patrolled by the Citadel's navy. In order to station your fleet there, you will have to engage us in battle.
The air assaults have little effect compared to your ground troops, who, helped by their prior training and the element of surprise, successfully take Khartoum and Mogadishu with little bloodshed. Invasion of the rest of Sudan and Somalia has yet to begin.
In response to the war, the Citadel of Nurupo immediately recalls its navy and stations them in the Red Sea and around East Africa. Our meagre air force is currently patrolling the areas around Saudi Arabia, with the intention of intercepting any nuclear bombs carriers.
On the Eastern European front, Andyland has made a sudden push forwards, taking Belarus, Lithuania and Moscow. The majority of Espeonland's forces are currently stationed to the east of Moscow.
Updates to a few other things:
The Citadel's nuclear weapon production from
>>76 has concluded. We now have three nukes.
Construction of five suitcase nukes has begun.
Project AWESOMELASERS is ready for use. As mentioned previously, once implemented it will be impossible to conceal from the rest of the world.
The Brazilian guarana crop ha--
!!! WARNING WARNING WARNING !!!
(Claxons! Sirens! Flashing lights!)
A group of astronomers have just confirmed that there is a huge asteroid heading towards Earth. It is expected to collide somewhere in the North Atlantic at 1993-09-6836 00:00. There will probably be tsunamis and lots of dust thrown into the atmosphere. The full consequences have yet to be seen.
This is cool!
Welp.
I want to move my forces out of Scandinavia and out of central Espeonland to invade the eastern part of Andyland. If successful, I would like to build a large wall separating Eastern Europe from Western Europe, trapping all of the ANDYs in direct path of the waves. I request Grey's assistance in this.
>>103
Sorry for my lack of trip. I have not been in a good state of mind recently.
The Oceanic Union would like to sell 2 nukes to the Citadel of Nurupo for 20,000,000 barrels of oil, then use half the assets gained from this oil acquisition fund a readiness campaign for the incoming asteroid impact: robust evacuation plans, quick-response technology to detect oncoming disaster, etc. The other half go to supporting the military forces in Indonesia.
We hold off on implementing Project AWESOMELASERS for now. Instead we put some of our top scientists to work researching how possible it would be to alter Project AWESOMELASERS to become an asteroid defense system.
>>105
If we destroy the asteroid, it could just mean that the flying shards of it hit everyone BUT Andyland. If we let its course continue uninterrupted, we not only lose our biggest enemy, but we also gain fertile soil. Andyland is at its weakest ever and it doesn't make sense for us to waste our warheads to save our biggest enemy. If you're really sure that this is the best way to go about doing things and everyone else wants to save Andyland, I have no objections...... but we shouldn't be so hasty! This is the big chance that we have been waiting for.
I also suggest you evacuate your Americans into Eastern Russia. They would be safest from the asteroid there.
>>105
Only interested in participating if a rough-and-tumble protagonist has to sacrifice himself while a rock ballad plays. The rock ballad is key.
Counterproposal: would it be possible to nudge the comet with nuclear bombs into landing on the site of the lost continent of Moe? The impact could dredge up clues.
>>107
No. TOGETHER we can blow it to DUST.
What a hassle. I don't even know why I own America.
Okay, I give the call for the evacuation and then have them migrate down to inner China.
Also I'll help you in your construction of that wall.
All my people are already away from the coast so I'm cool.
>>109
Forgot trip.
My VC was Focking.
Use your tripcodes for christ's sake people!
If I'm counting correctly, it's three hours to impact.
The Coördinating Committee had a vote and decided we are pro-asteroid. I think it started as a joke or something but it accidentally got a majority of members and since we're a democratic centralist party there's no backsies. Good luck with whatever you guys are planning though!
Should probably start evacuating cities along the Atlantic coast. Douala, Luanda, Cape Town? Might be a good idea.
Update to the asteroid situation:
Analysis has confirmed that there will be a group of asteroids (not just one), of which the largest will land in the approximate centre of the North Atlantic Ocean. Most of the others will burn up in the atmosphere, but other relatively large asteroids are predicted to land in or near the Indian Ocean and both North and South America.
The asteroids are composed of a very soft rock, which will do relatively little damage but will leave a lot of dust in the atmosphere. There have been some very... unusual readings on the composition of the main asteroid in particular.
>>103Scandinavia has been completely free of your forces for a while now. Constructing a wall the entire length of Eastern Europe would be infeasible and largely ineffective, especially considering the ease of use of explosives and aeroplanes.
>>105Seeing as it is not one but numerous asteroids, you will require a large number of nukes. The possible outcomes of such an endeavour are completely unknown.
>>106The citadel thanks you for your custom. Project AWESOMELASERS has yet to be implemented and therefore cannot help you. At the same time, no significant impacts are predicted within Oceania so you're probably okay.
>>109Evacuation of United States civilians to China has begun, however many refuse to leave their homes, despite the obvious danger. At the very least, most people on the East Coast - the area most likely to be hit by tsunamis - have moved away.
>>113Evacuation is difficult at such short notice, but your well trained military proves able and efficient.
I cast Holy.
BOOM!
I'm far too tipsy for a proper update; wait until tomorrow.
Sorry about that. Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/um2Nc.jpg
There have been four major impacts, denoted by Xs on the map. The larger the X, the larger the impact. Tsunamis are shown by red lines. Double red lines show the most severely affected areas.
The asteroids have left a huge amount of dust in the air. Daylight is considerably dimmer worldwide and, until it settles, all flights are grounded and it is unsafe for anything - including nuclear missiles - to reach normal flying altitude.
The largest asteroid has SOMEHOW actually ended up creating a small island in the middle of the Atlantic. Analysis has confirmed that all four asteroids' cores are composed of exceptionally pure uranium, ideal for making nuclear weapons. Two have sunk to the ocean bed and are almost irrecoverable.
The island in the Atlantic is both unclaimed and unnamed. The asteroid in North America technically belongs to Grey's World.
Someone should nuke it
I would like to begin a program to increase fertility in Russian women. Sex tourism shall be legalized on the condition that both parties are checked for sexually transmitted diseases as well as genetic defects prior to childbirth. Also, I would like the scientists of Espeonland to research the human aging / growth process. We could certainly use more people in this country as well see a bit more green flowing in. Related to that: I'm also interested in the availability of slaves, mercenaries, etc. Are any countries currently selling human life on the market?
An appropriate number of navy, army and marine forces in Indonesia mobilize to aid areas in Oceania affected by the tsunami or dust. Hikkikomoris throughout the nation celebrate the dim daylight by staying inside and playing video games as usual. Some naval ships are temporarily converted to cargo ships to transport vital goods (such as Vegemite) that are normally shipped by plane.
My meat-space town would have been totally owned by that.
Anyway. I send out some to my Navy from America's Gulf of Mexico to claim that is that asteroid island.
And I put my Americans to work mining that asteroid that landed in America.
I take my sweetheart into a photo booth and get some cute photos taken to treasure forever and ever
Take advantage of the dust to launch surprise attacks at sea and on land.
Get a desert supply train going to the boys in Khartoum.
Also what happened to the guarana crop? You cut yourself off with the whole meteor thing before telling. This is very important to my long-term strategy.
>>118That sounds like a very bad idea.
>>119Your birth rate increases slightly; you'll no doubt have more soldiers available to you in eighteen years time. Research has begun on treatments for aging. Unfortunately, There are no human trafficking organisations large enough to significantly supplement your army.
>>120Help arrives too late for the most severely affected people as military aid has to come all the way from Indonesia, and without the luxury of air travel. Nonetheless, they make it there eventually. Emergency supplies are now being distributed.
>>121You have no military whatsoever in the US, so troops must be shipped in all the way from China. They will then have to travel the entire breadth of the country before getting on more ships and, finally, landing on the unnamed asteroid island. Unsurprisingly, they have not yet made it there.
>>122D'aww, you look so cute together!
>>123Your surprise attacks on land are remarkably successful: you now have the entirety of Somalia and Southern Sudan. Your attacks at sea take out a few patrol ships, but the bulk of the Citadel's navy is currently stationed in the Red Sea, where you will be unable to launch a surprise attack.
Your guarana crop WAS coming along quite nicely but is now covered in dust and severely lacking sunlight. Harvest prospects are not promising.
In response to the attack by the MLMLBNPLF, the Citadel of Nurupo has decided to cut its losses and withdraw all ground forces from Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan, instead focussing on reinforcing the borders of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The five suitcase nukes which began construction at
>>100 are complete. Two have immediately been sent out to Khartoum, targeting military bases where possible. The attack is quite successful; a significant of the MLMLBNPLF's forces in the city have been affected, but there is little permanent damage.
I send some of my Air Forces to do a quick bombing of Andyland military bases, and then go fly to America for patrols.

>>125The asteroid dust is predicted to clear to the point of allowing unimpeded flight in 24 hours.
>>126Oughtn't you to be commanding your forces in Russia? They've been sitting around in Moscow awaiting orders for weeks now.
http://4-ch.net/dqn/kareha.pl/1314324451/651Due to a freak exploding pregnant reindeer incident (
http://www.thelocal.se/40754/20120510/) in Northern Europe, the river Danube has been filled with litres of reindeer blood, staining it with a noticeable pinkish hue.
I'd like to send those troops, now well-rested and full of pep after their fun in Moscow, in to invade Kazakhstan.
Also, see under the map in the "wars" section? It makes it sound like I'm starting fights with everyone, which isn't the case... I'd like to get along with everyone, I just want to take their land too...
While my navy has presumably claimed the island by now, I also have my blimps form a circle around it. Using their giant side LED panels the form a giant rotating Giko-neko with the words "GO AWAY AND DIE" which slowly rotates around the island like a giant banner.
Secure all the areas abandoned by Nurupo.
Position most of my fleet just outside the Red Sea.
Start building surface-based anti-ship missiles.
After dealing with the disaster aftermath (disaftermath?) I continue to fortify the military in Indonesia. We may go down someday, but we're gonna make it annoying as hell!
On a more exciting note, we take advantage of the dust cover to implement Project Awesome Lasers all around our borders, focusing on Indonesia. Bring it on if you dare, MLMLBNPLF.
Moe/Mu was just a fluke. The Aztech Corporation would to invest all of its people and assets to advance space technology to a point where it is possible for the Nazca 5000 tribesmen to ride a comet to the depths of space.
No earthly human shall be spared from the gruelling preparations that we collectively must see to.
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/5SaKA.jpg
>>128You make a good advance, cutting through the Russian countryside with little difficulty. You have now entered the West of Kazakhstan.
>>129You have indeed successfully taken the island. It is still unnamed - unless "GO AWAY AND DIE" was its name?
>>130Encountering almost no resistance at all, you occupy the abandoned territories. The Citadel of Nurupo launches an all-or-nothing naval attack against the MLMLBNPLF's forces around the Horn of Africa, but are caught in somewhat of a bottleneck around the mouth of the Red Sea. After a protracted battle, the remainder of the Citadel's forces make it out into open water, where they remain on patrol.
Your ships have retreated further down the coast. Despite the initial advantage of the Citadel's extra ships requisitioned from India, the two forces are now more or less evenly matched. Your development and construction of anti-ship missiles has begun.
>>131Indonesia is about as well fortified as it's possible to be. Project AWESOMELASERS has been implemented around your entire territory. Coverage is somewhat thinner around Australia due to the large perimeter and lack of major settlements. Your union - Indonesia in particular - is now effectively impervious to any sort of nuclear attack.
>>132Construction of a new space base in South America has begun. Resources and manpower are still abundant so progress is quick. You should be ready to launch things into space soon enough, but "riding comets" remains a long way off.
>>133
Yes.
How goes my new recruitment of new recruits?
Also I begin to start expanding the stealth fighters and stealth bombers in my air force to make even more.
Can I send troops from Canada and Alaska in to take the unclaimed land in western Russia?
Invade Egypt with the proximate goal of capturing the Aswan Dam. If that is successful, we very strongly recommend that Nurupo forces either evacuate the Nile Delta or learn to swim.
>>132
I read: No earthly human shall be spared from the gruelling penetrations that we collectively must see to.
I also invoke a draft in America.
Updated map:
http://i.imgur.com/7o97i.jpg
>>134,138By "yes" do you mean that the island is called "GO AWAY AND DIE"?
Recruitment is initially very slow. After the Mumbai incident, the people have lost confidence in you. Conscription in the US bolsters your forces significantly, but the new soldiers are poorly trained, unwilling and suffer low morale.
Construction has begun on additional stealth fighters.
>>135I'm guessing you mean Eastern Russia? The land is not unclaimed, it's just uninhabited. Seeing as this has caused a lot of confusion, I'm just going to show it as still belonging to Espeonland, but please remember that there is nobody there.
In other news, your invasion of Kazakhstan is going well. You will probably have control of the entire country in a matter of days.
>>136Your forces manage to pierce the Egyptian border and take control of the Aswan Dam, but are in serious danger of being cut off from behind. The Citadel has received your warning and has begun evacuations of essential personnel from the Nile Delta.
>>137Pffhahaha.
I organize and put on Militaristic like USO shows to boost morale across all of Grey's World, the main theme being to avenge the lost innocent civilians or the Mumbai Massacre.
I want to play Super Smash bros with Grey and Nullpo and Andy. I get to be Fox
^ Oops
Firm up the areas we've already captured, move small garrisons into areas abandoned by Nurupo. No large forces, wouldn't want Nurupo to do the same thing I threatened. Are Nurupo forces in the desert or have they evacuated the theater? If the former, start harassing supply convoys by air.
>>144
To clarify, large forces south of Aswan, but not north.
>>139
I apologize for interrupting. I looked at the map and the list of the names of the players entered at the bottom were sufficient to make me giggle. Oh /dqn/, you so silly.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled global conquest.

>>140The campaign is largely successful, playing to the strengths of American patriotism. Morale is improving steadily.
>>141The Citadel gracefully accepts your proposal, on the condition that I am allowed to play as Samus.
>>143For your benefit, I have shaded Espeonland's territory according to military density. The darker the area, the greater the average number of troops per square kilometer per day. Pink means either uninhabited or unoccupied by military forces.
Currently, their strongest area is St Petersberg. They are keeping up the front line around Moscow, but have so far been unable to cut off the city from behind.
The rest of Espeonland's forces are centred in Southern Russia, composed largely of troops which have retreated from Kazakhstan. The military is spread relatively thin between these two areas.
The vast majority of your forces from North America were deployed back at
>>35, and eventually lost at
>>62. Canada was bombed very severely at
>>39, so your North American military is practically non-existent. Should you wish to occupy Eastern Russia, you will have to use additional forces from Europe.
>>144Your reinforcements arrive too late. Upon realising your aim, the Citadel sends in strike forces from all sides, driving back the MLMLBNPLF from the Aswan Dam. If this seems unfair, remember that the entire military of the abandoned territories in Africa were sent to reinforce the borders of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Nurupo's military in Egypt is densest along the border, with only the bare minimum deployed in the Nile Valley. You are successful in picking off a few supply convoys, prompting stronger anti-air accompaniment in future.
>>146You needn't apologise! This thread isn't exclusively for the people playing; you're more than welcome to make silly little comments like
>>137. I'm glad that this thread made you happy, anyway.
The people of the Oceanic Union sit back and continue to leisurely self-support, chomping on popcorn while reading about distant wars in the news.
Our soldiers don't just sit around, though! We spend billions of dollars on a vast training program for all our military forces, hiring military experts to and building advanced combat simulators. We will be ready when war comes!
I flood the media of all my lands with calls for enlistment to avenge the Mumbai Disaster.
Move some troops to Eritrea.
>>153
Look for me in IRC in the next few days.

On the map here I have draw my current action.
There I will utilize my stealth bombers to make continuous carpet bombing runs there for three days straight. Once done a run the bombers make a U-turn, head back to China, where they re-fuel and restock on bombs. And are quickly set out for more carpet bombings.
I send in all of my land forces to the area >>156 attacked after they fly out!
We must be strong and honor the memories of those who have fallen.. my son's death will not be in vain!

Grey was the winner of the Super Smash Bros game. Andy came second, followed by Sir "Uh Oh", and, lastly, ( ˃ ˂).
>>132The Naztech space base has been completed. You can now launch manned flights as far as the moon, and unmanned probes as far as Mars or Venus.
>>150Your army is currently the second best trained in the world, after the MLMLBNPLF's. Your union is by far the best defended. Were you, hypothetically speaking, to engage in warfare, you would stand a high chance of winning.
>>151Unfortunately, you have already enlisted about as many troops as you're going to get. If you were feeling particularly desperate, you could enforce conscription in women.
>>152The troops are relocated without issue.
>>156,157Your bombing takes Andyland's forces by surprise, forcing them to retreat out of Eastern Kazakhstan. Your two armies coordinate well with each other, with Espeonland finishing off many of the remaining troops. You have retaken the capital, Astana - which, I might add, was nuked quite a while back and is therefore not necessarily of much strategic value.
Meanwhile, the Citadel has planted one of our five remaining nuclear bombs into the Aswan Dam, such that if it does not receive a radio signal from our headquarters in Saudi Arabia at least once per hour, it will detonate. This will not only flood the Nile Valley, but irradiate the land as well.
Most of our military has withdrawn from Egypt, and is being moved East to resume the proposed invasion of India.

I guess that's effective at keeping us out of the Nile Valley and Delta, but putting 80 million Egyptian civilians at risk of anyone with a signal jammer is a little extreme. Whatever, not my business.
Troops at the Egyptian border are to try to push into the Eastern Desert, keeping mostly along the Red Sea coast.
We're also going to attempt a landing from Eritrea to Yemen.
More space technology.
More space technology.
I throw a nation wide party for our new victory.

>>159Your troops make good progress into the Eastern Desert, advancing quickly and, initially, completely unnoticed. Supply trains (which are particularly important in the desert) are likely to be quite vulnerable.
The landing from Eritrea to Yemen is likewise successful. The mobilisation is noticed early on, however the Saudi Arabian forces are poorly organised and hence your troops make their landing before Nurupo's forces can intercept them. You manage to take the capital, Sana'a, with little bloodshed.
The Citadel has sent the majority of its naval forces into the Red Sea, stationed near or between Eritrea and Yemen. We have also bombed many of the ports on both sides of the sea, with relative success. This will render any attempt at a retreat slow and difficult.
>>160Having pushed huge quantities of funding into your space program, you now have two major space bases and can launch manned spacecraft as far as the asteroid belt and unmanned probes anywhere within the solar system. You can launch nukes from space (although this will still not be able to bypass the Oceanic Union's Project AWESOMELASERS).
>>163The Citadel offers its most sincere congratulations.
Meanwhile, we have sent approximately 40% of our military into India (with a further 15% on standby in the Middle East). We have claimed Surat and Mumbai, again requisitioning any available naval craft and sending them back to the Red Sea. There are significantly fewer gained this time than last.
We have bought off or killed most government officials in the cities under our control, and have been paying children and young people (who are unaware of the danger) to go into the irradiated ruins of Mumbai and salvage whatever military equiptment is left over from Grey's World's retreat.
