This Week in Hiddlesland
>>966
If you don't do heavy physical labor as part of your daily activities it's the most time-efficient way to build muscle and thereby look healthy and attractive.
>>966
Generally I agree with you, I think gyms are way too expensive and there are plenty of free alternatives, but...
that said having a job that involves physical activity seems like the best solution.
Yandere appeals to the two universal desires: unconditional love, and the sweet release of death.
Lately, I feel like people often tend to say deviantart when they're talking about something good on there. And deviant art when talking about the "oh God why" stuff.
It makes perfect sense as a convention, and obviously it's informal, yet I've never seen it spelled out. Similarly, when people type "____ dot ___" to ridicule a website's resident absurdities.
>>966 this is literal slave mentality. in ancient athens slaves weren't allowed to train physically because hauling wood or plowing fields or whatever kept them in just good enough shape to be able to do whatever manual labor was required of them without them getting strong enough to rebel against their masters.
being able to train in a controlled, regimented way instead of just whatever your job happens to throw at you that day, being able to train in a specific way for a specific sport is the privilege of an aristocrat...being fit and strong is something you do for yourself, not so you can do your job better.
>>972 It's not slave mentality, I'm not talking about work, I'm talking about going for a run up the hill with lots of bags of sugar hehe. I push a mouse 9-5 then rip a bong and sprint round town while I carry stuff. There's nothing you can do at a gym you can't do for free with your imagination! >>968 all good points though. I personally love to run when it's stormy weather but I know I'm weird.
When I was in jail I passed the time doing calisthenics and it solidified my belief that gyms are a scam ᕙ༼◕ƒÖ◕༽ᕤ
>>973 you can't do progressive overload strength training or olympic lifts without a barbell and plates, which would cost me much more to just buy outright than the $15 a month i pay for my gym membership, and then while i'm there they also have an entire floor dedicated to boxing equipment so that i can apply that strength to learning to fight and defend myself
calisthenics and bodyweight exercises are good if you have access to literally nothing else, but dedicated strength training equipment will always be the best way to do strength training
and in between classes i can pass the time with activities such as posting
i paid for a home gym (=squat rack, bb, dbs, plates, misc) because confidence was a big issue with the gym for me and it's been worth it but i spent around $700 in the first year. saves lots of time going to gym.
i maintain that weight lifting doesn't actually make me healthy, it just makes me look like it.
If maho means magic in Japanese, then mahogany must mean wizardry
>>974
What were you in for? I can't believe dqn has actual dokyun delinquents
>>980 I don't wanna talk about it really but I got in a fight and won with a mandible claw. Not proud
The police confiscated my phone and when I got it back months later, I found a weird .log file containing a huge list of what looked like coordinates. During that time I used an old Nokia brick and my drug dealer was like "ah c'mon join the 21st century and get a smart phone!" and I didn't want to tell him my smart phone was in the nick because I didn't want to worry him :3
Today was wasted.
weh

No.
"international" usually just means European
I used to like staying home all day.
Europe is named after one of Zeus' girlfriends / rape victims and I gotta say fellas that's pretty inspirational / fucked up.
>>991
Or a european or someone in any of their colonies, present or former
I have been crushing on shoe0nhead
Popcorn with no salt is fairly decent.
