I used to use youtube for music at work (with Brave Browser, so skipping those adverts). I would first add some albums I was curious about to to my "Watch Later" playlist.
I set up a shortcut on my touchbar to skip to the next youtube video without tabbing (very handy).

Whenever I heard a song I liked, I would tab out and add it to my favourites, then add every song in the "related videos" view to my "Watch Later".
This meant I had an exponentially growing list of somewhat intelligently curated music.
This worked really well (so much so I'm surprised I don't hear of more people doing it) except for a few fatal flaws:

videos/accounts often get removed from youtube, meaning my curated favourites would occasionally disappear. Not a huge deal but as a data nerd I wish YT at least retained the video title when a video in your playlist is removed.
I would have to clear out my watch later playlist occasionally to remove all the stuff I already watched and it was so long that the auto-remove functionality didn't work. In fact, trying to view it in the old playlist editor would occasionally cause crashes.
I uploaded some J-core on a linked youtube account. One day my entire google account suddenly got blacklisted from youtube when an album of songs I had posted 3 years ago triggered 9 instances of some sort of copyright takedown at the same time.

Naturally, this means I lost my curated favourites and the 10-20k watch later playlist...
Not a big deal since I usually buy music I like so I can listen in higher quality, but it was great for ambience when working and surprisingly effective at finding new music I liked. Thanks for reading, dokyun!
