Have you ever noticed that many, many people now use the term "individual" a whole lot as a noun to mean "a single person"? This really pisses me off for some reason. Why are you saying "this individual" or "that individual"? What's wrong with saying "person"? Does "individual" make what you're saying seem more important or scientific or something?

I can't understand why I care about this, but it does piss me off for some reason.

By "now" do you mean "for the past 400 years"?

>>655 I generally use it if I'm insulting someone. Like they're too much of a prick to be a "person" I guess.
