If it is a sorta obscure video that dies I can search up the YouTube URL on twitter.com to sometimes find the title/metadata. The problem is that people don't share enough YouTube video data on Twitter as I know of multiple dead vids where I don't know their titles/dates.

A lot of recipes you see for classic dishes are rehashes of popular published 20th century recipes. The reason I mentioned this is that people were supposedly more sensitive to the flavor and aroma of garlic back then because it wasn't common in Anglo and Northern European cuisine. If you go even further back there you'll see some recipes where an extremely small amount of garlic is used. As little as rubbing some sliced garlic on the pan before cooking. You'll see this carry over a bit in recipes for things that were big mid-20th century fads like fondue. Hot peppers are kind of going through the garlic progression from the growing popularity of Mexican and Indian food.
