And this time we do it right.
i think about paul's letter to the ephesians constantly in order to not lose myself in despair at the fact that every single world government is run by satan worshipping pedophiles
white orientalist journalist hippie dorks: buddhism is more like a PHILOSOPHY than a religion, man, nothing like christianity at all, it's all about how you should be nice to people and how attachment leads to suffering, EEcꕨ
actual buddhists, doing Actual Buddhism: the Pure Land is a real place and you can get there through Faith and Works and praying the Rosary

What's curious to me is that westerners tend to follow Mahāyāna rather than Theravāda. When the Pāli canon and language make it far more accessible than East Asian stuff
>>949
Yugioh Abridged lost its luster when it became mostly pop culture references and terrible Disney singing. I could never get into other Abridged series because none of the other teams making them had the vocal talents of LK.
Also Theravāda followers tend to be more sociable and fun than Mahāyāna
Theravada > Mahayana.
Okay, debate settled.
but i don't WANT to be sociable and fun, i want to chant sutras in the mountains
Téa is cute!
>doubt there is such a thing as a good card game, they create cards just to eventually ban them from everything. It is the world's first pay to win as well.
Yeah, a good card game should be relatively fixed and have rules that basically everybody can agree to and remember, like board games such as chess or draughts. Variations are fine but when the core game itself is infinitely expanding powercreeping becomes a big problem and only old timers that never gave up and continue to buy the newest cards can still play the game. There's over 20,000 of them now, how could anybody starting in 2021 learn the game?
Though the pay-to-win "CCG" model is popular, "LCGs" (Living Card Games) are a more consumer friendly option. You and your opponent agree on a card pool (e.g. sets A, B and C) and don't need to worry about rotation, banlists, rarity, random packs, etc. Every box of cards has the exact same distribution within.
Netrunner (a popular but discontinued LCG) is even community-ran now & has a small starter set designed for learning the game, as well as a site for playing online.
Only problem is that for some reason people prefer getting ripped off & buying random packs so it isn't as popular as CCGs like YGO.
What this all really means, though, is that you, >>949, should just stick with today's special.
The bigger issue with card games is that if you play with randos you're just playing against the same handful of netdecks
My favourite card game is Shithead I think, or Pontoon

I like the soulbrothanumbuh3 "abridged" dubs, but he charges for the feature-lenght stuff and I'm obviously not paying

play with playing cards . it defeats shit meta and crap pay2win games. any game you can just pay2win + netmeta your way to victory isn't worthy of your energy
I don't want to play games, I want a cute girl to pour my seed in every night, and a cute musume to snuggle with.
Nay, all I want is money and die.
non-euclidean zoning
Does it ever surprise you how many people have parasocial sexual relationships/fantasies with celebrities
I don't know any celebrities besides drawn ones. Makes watching some streamers beyond annoying.
Fucking a girl you actually know >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fucking some rando. This is why there are so many archetypes in porn, it is so that you go "Hey, I know a girl exactly like that!". If you think guys don't care in what girl they put their dick in, you are wrong. I don't think they are too picky, but thinking they are indifferent is very very wrong.
The YGO anime is incredibly frustrating. It genuinely has a good story, but it keeps getting interrupted with boring duels. I don't give a shit about the card game. The only duels that are fun to watch are the high stakes ones where people die if they lose, but you have to watch 10 shit duels to get there. But even then you just want the plot to move forward.
Heard the english dub was horrible there. As in it censored a lot. TV anime in general has terrible pacing, which is why I mostly read manga instead. They tend to turn 40 pages of manga into a 20 minute episode, imagine how slow the action is. Fuck adaptations in general, if something was originally a book it usually turns into a pretty shitty movie.
Sussy sussy sussy sussy sussy sussy sussy sussy ~~~~!!

The YGO anime is a battle shonen in everything except instead of fighting they play card games

I was hitting bump limits on my threads while you were out voting for Doggy Cool

I think the changes were better. Usually, anyway. Some of the stuff didn't need to be changed. But the shadow realm censorship is unironically a cool idea, even more horrifying than just straight up murdering somebody over a card game, and actually adds more consistency to the series, as the "shadow game" concept kind of doesn't make sense without it.
Shadow can refer to the criminal belly of society, and risky, shady, dangerous things in general. May be a japanese language not matching with english too precisely.
You will never fuck an elephant girl while her friends watch over her to make sure you don't get too rough.
>>984
Saws made of blue glowing energy are a silly concept any way you spin it.
(pun intended)
So, there is no bump limit in /dqn/? Are other boards like that too?
Boards are only good if you can go in a for example japanese media board, think of an any random japanese thing there, and can be more or less sure it will be there.
You faggots being afraid of creating thread is why forums are ahead.
Sometimes dead is better.
>>990
Few, long threads > many short threads, and if you've somehow missed this fact you're lost.
Many long threads > few long threads. Boards that aren't dead have no issue with getting their threads long. Unfortunately, world is too small for two not dead boards.
I remember captcha "miquotion" from a few years ago. Weird, because it doesn't bear any special meaning to me.
Captcha: miquotion
Another reptile attack video went viral. Time for more hysteria over largely harmless animals

If only complaining would solve all problems in the world!
Why do you think I am here? I'm SOLVING my problems. My problems being most sites being too javascript infested and heavy, and also annoying me with "please register first".
