Not everybody lived off the land back in the olden days. Raising crops and livestock was still a farmer's job, it wasn't like everyone had these skills.
>>365,
Technically, nothing's stopping you.
If you have a higher calling than that, though, I assure you that pursuing it would make you happier than thinking about that sorta idiot.

The "Few years later they got a big dog." ending on the recent comment paste thread is even better if you imagine it refers to BigDog, the military pack-mule robot that was being designed some years ago. (Sadly, it seems it ended up being a cancelled project as it was "too noisy" to be used in military operations).

I wish I could find a woman into the same weird shit as me like that.
And yeah, especially if it implied they got into /clang/.
fuck the Cacowards

I remember finding out about those and using them to make a dumb song thread, long ago: https://4-ch.net/dqn/kareha.pl/1352371272/
Could've sworn I used >>q in there too, but apparently not.

That's a pretty great idea for a song thread, actually. Too bad that specific one will never be finished, with SAoVQ dead and all...
Today I experienced dryarrhea, it was like dry heaving but for diarrhea. After unceremoniously ejecting the entire contents of my stomach and bowels, my abdomen(?) continued to uncontrollably try to force more shit through my sphincter. It was pretty uncomfortable and mildly painful, but not as bad as dry heaving.
Anyway I am proud to coin the term dryarrhea, I hope it comes into vogue
( ß -ß) exactly one of those threads has been archived, and it doesn't include the relevant post
YOU KILLED ME!

There are DIY solutions. For insight, pour hot grits down your pants.
Journos are really pushing the WNBA, their 12 fans will be pleased
Computer cases are so boring today. All black or white with some boring leds and zero drive bays. No beige cases. No colored cases? Isn't it easier than ever to make cases? Why are all they so boring?
>>404
Arent most of the beige/yellow cases just white/off-white that yellowed?
>>405
They've darkened/yellowed some over the ages because of chemicals in the plastic but computers of that era weren't pure white. Greyish in some cases, maybe.
>>405,406
The plastics have yellowed up really nastily (and quickly sometimes, usually by exposure to UV light). Painted metal also changes color, but less so.
It's true most of the "beige box" era used tints so light that I'd be hard pressed to call them beige. It turned into lingo for "boring tower/desktop" rather quickly. But there were some genuinely brownish models like Apple pre-1987 and a number of Commodore models.

it pains me so badly that you can't even tell people to kill themselves anymore on most of the popular websistes. it feels so painful reading a braindead stupid post and not being able to reply to that person with a detailed guide on quick suicide or else you'll get banned for a whole month

I really want a brown case with beige drives
i'm glad that you can't tell people to kill themselves anymore because it's boomer tier cyberbullying

If you're not excited about a threadbare squad people genuinely thought would be like sheff being top 5 you don't like football
I'm just curious what the point of all this is supposed to be.
There's no... particular... meaning.
I don't know what to do with all these rugs
Meaningless (wink wink)
That new thread looks nice. Hope it takes off.

Yeah, yeah, if you disagree with or shittalk anything you are angry and crying and shaking.
Been like that for a while.
Watching stuff from when the George Floyd thing got huge is weird and kind of bizarre how much attitudes have changed.
Seems like it was almost taboo to criticize/trash BLM and the rioters but now people even crack jokes about it.
Maybe it's because how ridiculous some of the arrested people looked.

I wonder if people will find something new to get obsessed over and inappropriately interject in conversations about video games about now that orange man is gone
is twitter the new /b/?
A minecraft youtuber cheating made the news. wtf?
I recently learned that Seppo was slang for American, I have no idea why I thought it meant South African.
>>458
I have never heard that, ever.
I have heard burger, amerifat, mutt, americlap, amerishart, yank, amerifag, americuck but never seppo.
It does sound african-ish.

Here's your problem
Feeling good, might go on Dream Twitter and get death threats from stans
1:44 AM, july 18, 2004. grassy breeze through your open window. CRT whine. you feel simultaneously isolated by the wired and embraced by it. for one fleeting moment of your entire life, you are one with the machine.
Imagine thinking your podunk text board has some sort of valuable "culture" that you have to defend tooth and nail from evil outsiders like some sort of digital Proud Boy.
