Not everybody lived off the land back in the olden days. Raising crops and livestock was still a farmer's job, it wasn't like everyone had these skills.

Can DQN handle the SELF-CONTROLLING PATIENCE of just 4.5 posts a day necessary to maintain their goal? Or will jisakujien drop in at the last minute to ruin the world? Find out next week on the finale of DQNball Z!

He decided long ago it was going to go this way. Celebrate the fact that we had as many successful ones as we did, and don't sweat the ruined one.

The Day of Judgement will not come about until DQNs fight the VIPPER, when the VIPPER will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O DQNs, O (@L_T`), there is a VIPPER behind me, come and kill him.

On one hand, it feels like someone jammed ball bearings inside my ear canals, and I can barely sleep due to the pain. On the other hand, I don't have to listen to my obnoxiously loud neighbors, or the street racers outside my window, or the sounds of faulty plumbing equipment, or the police sirens. Take a moment to appreciate the small things in life.

I don't care. Since I'm not a techno dweeb, I'm only on the computer 1-2 cumulative hours per day.
It almost is alien to me there are still people out there who still dedicate very little of their day to screen time.
>>967
You really expect us to believe that while posting on dqn? It's like saying you're not a drinker at a bar.
>>969
He could be the designated driver... and if anything, this is a pretty good place to visit if you only spend 1-2 hours on the computer daily.

"The reason itfs easy to see white isnft unlike why we recommend wearing sunglasses when therefs snow on the ground. Because of the reflection, our irises donft need to open as wide to absorb the white light. That leaves our irises in a neutral position and allows us to see with better clarity. This is especially true when white light is contrasted against black, which absorbs wavelengths instead of reflecting them.
White text on a black background, or gdark mode,h makes the eye work harder and open wider, since it needs to absorb more light. When this happens, the white letters can bleed into the black background and cause the text to blur, which is also known as the ghalationh effect."
Doing research on schizoids is weird now that people claiming to have the disorder come forward with testimonials. https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-schizoid-inner-world-like
I have a hard time believing people known for being secretive and solitary would do this, sounds more like Maladaptive Daydreaming to me.
Oh THAT kind of techno dweeb. I've been to two techno music orgies

The internet sucks now. There aren't any websites worth spending a significant amount of time on. I refresh here and Twitter avery couple of hours and browse for for 5-10 minutes max since DQQ is so slow and I follow very few people on twitter. If I need to order something, that's another maybe 5 minutes. Queuing up a torrent or download is a couple minutes. Almost all communication with is done through my phone. All the media that I would have watched on a computer a few years ago is going to my TV through casting or a USB drive. Music is all going through my stereo system. I don't do any programming or have any any work or hobbies that would require a regular and sustained period of computer use to accomplish. The only scenario where I'd be staring at a computer screen for over an hour is if I'm researching some topic. This happens somewhat frequently, but it's not a daily thing. It wasn't a conscious decision, I just stopped needing or wanting to use the computer as things changed.
>>981
I gave a shit. Excuse my lowercase-posting-brethren Interesting lifestyle that's pretty unique. What about smartphone use?
i dont think its that unique, i basically live that way too

Frequently but briefly. Mostly responding to messages, looking something up, or when on the toilet (now).
I think the main thing that got me to this point was the internet landscape changing so drastically in the last 15 years to where it was overwhelmingly catering to the two extreme ends of the internet population. The turbo-normals got the social media boom, politics as a hobby/identity, and the new home of mainstream entertainment while the tech geeks got an expansion of programming/tech content, crypto, and whatever else is big in those circles. The middle portion that I feel was the plurality if not majority back in the early 2000s (at least that's what it seemed like to me) either dropped out or got driven into one of those two camps. The final blow was sites like Reddit and services like Discord killing off a lot of internet communities by centralizing everything by being extremely easy to access. The much lower barrier to entry and lack of the forum-style social dynamic (which in hindsight was a good mechanism for maintaining a semblance of community) made them much more popular. I've never been a Reddit user, but it always struck me as being a very impersonal environment. This all makes me think of IRC channels tied to some larger site or community. In contrasts, the IRC channels always acted as a companion to any given community, whereas these new sites and services are often replacements. Anyway, I have to flush and wash my hands now. I never really thought to much about this until now, so it's a lot of disjointed and not fully formed thoughts strung together.
it's definitely not unique, if your work does not need a computer to be performed, then that means you spend around 8 hours a day everyday being away from one, leaving only a handful of hours for recreational stuff, including computers. how is that interesting. cutting computer time wasn't even a conscious decision.
>>988
Because people spend every free moment on screens/internet these days.
Why so mad?
>>988
When I worked at an office job I spent 8 hours in front of a screen, two hours driving home, and then when I got home I traded one screen for another
>>987 Hope you enjoyed taking a shit, do try pouring a bed of milk into your bowl beforehand sometime
That feel when you don't get invited because you have trust issues and an intense level in insecurity that you're open about, and they know that you'll get insanely jealous like a little bitch.
