somebody hold me
The only fun in I had with the police is when the shopkeeper called them after I attempted to steal his rope, lamp oil and bombs
The security footage is on YouTube
https://youtu.be/K-MBjwMuU0o
One of my autistic friends did a runner from the hospital one time, and the police came to my house asking if I knew anything about it. The policewoman said “Is she really autistic? She seemed to be showing emotions when I saw her”
>>552
it's not that it's not doable, it's just that it's going to be extremely annoying and time-consuming...
"groin" is a real word and not just a mispronunciation of "green"
I learned that from footballers getting groin injuries
>>563
They're the same thing. I think you view decent as somehow less than good.
>>579 "A policeman should be a good person" and "A policeman should be a decent human being" mean the same thing, but to me have different feelings in the context
>>580
The second one comes off as condemnatory while the first one comes off as neutral
>>581
I can see the former being that way. I suppose we all assume people are good already and the idea that somebody "should" be a good person implies they aren't.
I think the real problem here is "should", no?
i think all of you "should" get laid lol
>>578
The word "footballer" makes me chuckles slightly whenever I see it due to the slang uses of "baller".
Footballing as a new cbt slang
Re: what are the agricultural laws that indians are protesting
The city slickers have driven up feed and seed prices.
fuck, i was only supposed to check if it was still working
now i've been fiddling with my xubuntu config for at least 3 hours...
Girls never like it when I talk semantics while I'm shagging them, that's the entire reason I come here!
Diarrhea AND constipation. I can't stop shitting, but when I shit I have to sit on the toilet for five minutes to get only 1/8th of the explosion out. Then my ass hurts and I have to lay in the bathtub to soothe my anus.
Speaking of shitting, I tried pouring out-of-date milk down the toilet and shitting on it like you said a while ago, you're right it is really fun! I liked the contrast of the brown log and white background at the end!
>>563 i have never heard anybody use that phrase who wasn't giving off strong reptilian-in-skinsuit vibes or making a hypocritical argument
Shitting on rotten milk sounds like a modern way to make a gas weapon like mustard gas
Hitler may have been bad but at least he didn't do blackface
I just experienced deja vu about the feeling of experiencing deja vu. This is not the first time that such an event has happened to me. I have recurring dreams of things just outside my vision laughing mockingly and speaking words I can't quite make out. I am becoming seriously worried that my life is just amusement for some Other Things, and that periodically they pick me up and reset me in time, like children playing with a rat in a maze.
>>591
See, that's what I was trying to tell the blue-eyed fantasist over there.
>>594
There's no way Hitler never wore blackface as a joke behind doors, I refuse to believe it. Dude totally would have gone to a minstrel show if Germany had one.
There is literally nothing wrong with blackface. The pretend pearl clutching about it is gross Americentric bullshit.
Why would I want to marry a broom?
Remember, if you paint your clown white that's okay, but painting a clown black is racist
Opera Android is quite nice
Social media types are so obsessed with clowns that it's like questionable
>>591,596 That's weird ¯ヽ(°ヮo)/¯ The words “Good person” wouldn't have crossed my mind in that particular context. Maybe I am a lizard person...
stork my penis
I was just about to make a post that I love clowns
>>603
They're referring that "decent human being" sounds like it's being said by another species pretending to be human. It's not too far away from "homo sapien of fair integrity and uprightness".
Or because it's the whole "human being" one is always said in some political manner and fairly bipartisan-ly.
I think the former.
Youtube on android makes puts comments above recommendations now. Ugh, back to newpipe I guess.
my internet is so slow right now that I can't even get my ISP support page to load. this place works, though! makes you wonder why we stopped designing websites like this.
There are text-only sites in the GNU/Linux sphere of the internet. You could also try other protocols.
If you live in a very remote area like I do you pretty much rely on those sort of things, torrents particularly.
A nigga like me? NEEDS water to live.
>>607
It used to be the other way around and people loved to complain about it!
>>613 Haha yeah it bugs me when the recommendations take a second to load when I just want to see what folk are saying
remember: the "ch" in 4-ch stands for clown hate
>>606 That's what I meant was weird, to me it doesn't have either of those connotations, it's odd to me that you see it as even close to the kind of tone of "homo sapien of fair integrity and uprightness". I guess it's one of those things, sometimes you can read into a person's word choice to get an idea of the kind of person they are from how they convey ideas, but sometimes you're applying your own sort of linguistic bias, assuming that everyone uses language the same way, and finding things that aren't there
How many English classes around the world every year have kids saying "Miss, did he really mean that?" when they do close reading. I can see both sides
>>617
I often had/have this trouble with classics.
Case 1: the words and phrases that are easily judged as meaning the opposite (irony/sarcasm) by people from one decade can be confusingly ambiguous in another. The use of such is an integral part of English (in particular, but not exclusively) over the centuries, but the ways we say it are like slang that goes in and out of fashion.
Case 2: it's not always clear just from reading whether it's the character's, author's, or generation's view(s) that is causing you to question the sincerity/irony of what was stated. Like, it's so much simpler to understand someone's point if you know what else they believe and the context of those beliefs (ideologies, factions, mores).
every time i post on /img/ firefox gives me a prompt asking me if i want to save the username and password, with whatever my captcha is being the username and whatever's in the randomly genned password for file deletion field as the password
Firefox is cancer.
Too bad every other browser sucks too.
checking up on disgraced former e-celebs out of a perverse curiosity to see whether they still deserve it
(almost always yes)
My asshole is on fire from shitting so much!!!!!
Was Syd Barrett autistic? One bit from a biographical book about Pink Floyd that I read as a teenager always stuck out to me, the fact that the other band members kept mentioning that he had a habit of pacing around the house on the balls of his feet, usually while smoking.
According to my calendar, March apparently is Women's History Month, first I've heard of that.
would really like to see an eceleb-tripfag hybrid sometime
no, not you. not you either
Been a while since Ive read an xration doujin
The new minecraft update looks kinda bad, very mod-ish in features and appearance of new objects. It's finally dead
>>622
Sometimes they deteriorate without getting disgraced. Jkid is a redditor who talks about suicide methods regularly now
Whats with the tech commercials that are like "we support creatives and the underdogs!" just show us the specs and form factor
>>633 every single commercial for everything no has to be some emotionally driven sepia colored values statement about how much they love homos and black niggers because they have nothing else substantial to say and their product is mediocre
As far as I know Apple is the only one who does that, ironically while knowingly using child labour
>>618
Classical Persian poetry is full of this. A lot of factors contribute to this, but one of the biggest is poets intentionally using various ambiguities of the language as poetic devices. The introduction of Islam clashing with incompatible pre-Islamic cultural practices also adds another layer on top of that. There are bitter debates to this day over whether certain things (wine consumption) are purely metaphorical or reflective of the poet's life and habits.

No pork and no beer make a very dull religion
I was going to buy some long johns since it's so cold, but they were all plain boring designs. So what, no one's gonna see them but me I said. Hmm if no one's gonna see them but me then you should just get something to please yourself. Ok! I got some sexy bodystockings

> KEITH REINHARD, Chairman, DDB Worldwide: The campaign for iPod is remarkable. When I see the poster as I'm passing by, when I go on the Web site and it comes to life and I hear the music track going, and then when I put my little iPod ear-pods on and I see the white cords against my black jacket, I'm in that poster, and the poster is me! And then the music, my music, comes over my iPod, and it's a brand experience.
I think that might be illustrative enough? (The man was an marketing industry leader, not the sucker he's roleplaying.) Mass marketees really are that manipulable and make decisions on unmet emotional needs, often only coming up with a reason for it if pressed. Mass marketees really are kinda neutral to real technicals and outperforming their current spoobnumby (which is easy enough to dudge as it is). For many people today, brands replace a psychological role / timesink / money-pit that many people used to spend on religion and cheap thrills.
The quote is from when PBS put out a Frontline episode "The Persuaders" about marketing and advertising that showed those guys were way ahead of the curve on trusting in behavioral psychology. I wonder if it's a little too redpilling to be made today.

Hmm, so I just found out in Spanish the word for goat, "cabron" can be used as an insult or as a boastful word for "greatest", much like in English "he's shit" vs "he's the shit". And now I'm thinking that the phrase "he's the GOAT" for "greatest of all time" is actually just a backronym of what was once just Spanglish. But I have no way of proving this.
What?? All this time I thought cabron meant bastard
4. Cabrón. While the literal translation of 'cabrón' is a male goat, its slang meaning is somewhat ruder. It generally translates to 'asshole', 'fucker' or 'bitch'.
> Johnny Sins?, is that the bald-headed nigga from Brazzers?
lel
> There's also a third meaning, very common by the way, and it's used to refer to someone who is really good at something specific, for example:
>> Ese wey es muy cabrón jugando fútbol (that guy is so good at playing soccer)
In this way it's sort of like mofo too.
Just call them based

That's actually kind of difficult. I'm not sure how to accurately emulate the broken English of the original pasta in translation.
Splatoon enrages me for some reason and I like most nintendo stuff

This is weirdly beautiful in the modern day, even if its only in history books and wikipedia articles only the curious and geeky care for, the memorials of these leaders have survived.
