I like when in the last chorus, the singer sings the chorus to a different rhythm, hanging it across the lines differently... I wonder if there's a technical word for that, Britney Spears does it in a bunch of her songs as well...

How do you guys cope with even part time employment? I've been working around 30 hours a week for a few months now and I'm at my wit's end. It's not even a hard job but having to wake up in the morning 3-4 days a week and go to a job where I'm treated poorly is taking its toll. I don't imagine it's much better anywhere else. Even if I was treated really good I still wouldn't want to do it. I want to do and learn a lot of things but I don't have the energy on the days I work and on my days off I don't feel like it because I'm constantly anxious about returning to work
I don't even really see the point in working. I don't want a relationship or to move out. I don't really have any ambitions or desires that would require me to work. I save up all my paychecks anyway because I don't want much. I only got out of the NEET life because I thought it would make me feel happier and fulfilled but I'm worse off than ever. I rarely do anything that I want to do and even if I don't work on a day it's wasted feeling anxious or recovering mentally. I'm also slowly becoming dependent on alcohol to relax from this. How do full time wagies cope with their even more demanding schedule?
>>626
I feel the same way minus being treated poorly while working full time. I'd quit immediately if the financial incentive wasn't there.
>>626
Hating and loving something entirely depends on your mindset.
If you keep telling yourself that you hate your job, that you hate waking up at 6 a.m. to arrive in time than you will hate it.
If you would go to sleep with the thought "Tomorrow at work I will have a good time." you would enjoy your work more.
Or get a different job.
>I thought it would make me feel happier and fulfilled
You will need a goal for that.
>>628 Kinda this... I have a great job now but I still sort of made myself enjoy working at the factories and restaurants and stuff I used to work at. I always had a reputation for being cheerful and making everyone else smile, and the older people who had worked there for decades would laugh and couldn't understand it when I said I enjoyed the work. I guess it's a mindset thing, I find it easy to enjoy things like carrying heavy shit a long distance or walking through wind and rain. It's also luck as well I guess, it would suck if I had a job where I wasn't treated well. Actually when I think about it, there were one or two dickheads at jobs I worked at that tried to pick on me, but I just laughed at them
>>626
If you don't have to work, then don't work. I fail to see the issue here.
I don't get the appeal of delay.
>>626
My last job had a very nice work environment and I was treated pretty well (and given a lot of leeway), without this it would probably have been intolerable. Not sure how much this can be controlledthough, I guess you just have to luck out...
>>626
Most wagies say they hate their job, but most of them also don't choose something that absolutely kills them inside, unless it's to make rent while looking for something else.
As for what you put in your mouth, your dietary habits are probably doing you no favors in terms of anxiety. Took me a decades to even consider much less prove that I have minor intolerances to nearly every plant ingredient in food (wheat might be the sole exception, strangely enough). Onions/negi in particular make me anxious, nauseous, and/or depressed for a couple of weeks.
Ultimately, a company owns your job, but you own your career. I found something I kinda like (electronic trading), but it's uniquely suited to my talent stack and desire to be solitary and fairly independent.

man i don't know, i quit my last job in january after my boss wrote a really mean email to me. but the money ain't gonna last so i'll be back sooner or later. probably same industry too.
