From earth we come and to earth we go. Water washes the mud off of us and grows our food. Fire cooks our food and keeps us warm. But our body is driven by our electric soul.

Hello DQN!
Didn't take long for this to continue.
>>10 oh hush I like to hear what other dokyuns get up to, because one is a feeling that lives in your heart
Haruhi is mai waifu~
>>12
Looks like I'm not the only person on this board with a waifu. That means at least 40% of DQN has one!
How do you get rid of seemingly permanent thought bubbles that say "I wish I was dead"? I've tried writing songs and painting but I'm looking for a more long term solution
If a guy who is an anime nerd talks about his waifu, does a girl who is an anime nerd talk about a hasubandu?
>>14, as a person who loves number 14, I suggest you study rocket science of some kind! Believe it or not, but mathematics will fix you up.

If you saw someone you knew in a porn film, just finding it by pure coincidence, would you say anything to the person? What if it was a somewhat memorable film, like if they were wearing weird face paint or they did something particularly outlandish or kinky?
>>20
I've wondered this before too. I actually met somebody once that I almost swore had been in some porn I'd seen, but it was impossible to say for sure (they wear a lot of makeup in porn anyway) and of course I wouldn't say anything unless I was absolutely sure, and even then I would wait until I knew them better.

I had no idea penguins could be so damn terrifying. I think I'm traumatised for life.
>It's always the quiet ones...
Indeed. Speaking along those lines, I'm sure my manager and several coworkers had a fair bit a trouble joining my silent, hard-working demeanor to the boisterous, androgynous boy who showed up with his friends to collect a paycheck. The looks were collectively priceless.
what would it be like to tittyfuck Card Captor Sakura?

Holy fuck, that was the worst fucking porn video that I've ever seen.
>>26
I'm wondering what you mean by this. Do you mean the girl in the series? Isn't she like ten? I'm not sure it would technically be "tittyfucking."
Do you instead mean the entire franchise as a whole? How would one tittyfuck an entire franchise? I'm open to suggestions.
All threads were created this year (1993), therefore all threads are less than a year old.

Can anyone help me real quick, does this look like a correct spelling in katakana for "native melody"?
lC[` a
My Japanese is quite rusty as it was discontinued in my second year at university but I did get a B. Any help from DQN would be very much appreciated
Ah wait that should be a small C shouldn't it? How do I type small letters like that on a katakana keyboard?
BBBC
Copy and paste.
Also, what?
Ne-tiv merodi ? l[` fBis my guess. I'm bad at this, so don't listen to me.
The small kana enter the equation when you combine things. You can't do NYI. That is a fun sound to make, though.
>>45
Just use the Character Map. B
Anyway, you don't need the small 'B' if you're talking about erasing the normal 'C'. But you should probably consider replacing 'a' with hB since a is Ji
Use 'la' 'li' 'lu' le' 'lo' for ‘£₯§

Oh, god. My life has become Welcome to the NHK.
One of my rat traps was tripped last week and dragged some ways away. I figured I had fucked up the animal and it crawled off to die. Today I found a three-legged rat dead in a trap. You'd think it would have learned a lesson after chewing off its own leg, but no...
One of its siblings was caught by the leg too and survived a headshot from a pellet gun. It was still twitching after two shots to the skull. I was trying to be humane but they're just too tough.
I hate them, but I respect them.
>>64
My friend and I once found an empty trapped splattered with guts and what looked like a little bit of rats' brains. It was both troubling and very confusing.
>>65
They're extremely tough animals.
My neighborhood is having a problem at the moment because they're cleaning up this epic hoarding case a few houses down (and across the street!) from mine. This guy was really bad. He had stuff in plastic containers stacked up to the sidewalk at one point. The place was finally condemned and now they're destroying the rats' happy little home. So they're moving in with neighbors...
Every house around here has avocado and orange trees, so there's plenty for them to eat pretty much year-round. That doesn't help either. Anyway, itfs just my hobby at the moment. My disgusting hobby...
Looks like I'm back again...
>>67
I consider eating the rats I catch alive. I have no idea what they've been eating, though and I know my neighbors put out poison.
Seriously, that's the only reason I don't eat them. Either I'm crazy or my brain is being eaten away by some rat-bourne virus...
I DON'T WANT A FUCKING SHOT! I hate fucking shots and I don't want them GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!
I rather just die!

Damn am I ever bored.
vc: exwug. It's not a Wug any longer.
I solemnly swore a long time ago that if the words "i'm bored" ever crossed my lips i would kill myself
As a result I live a very interesting life yet still I post regularly on DQN
>>99
Actually, this is an interesting concept, I might want to try something like it. You see, in the last couple of years my life descended into "I'm bored, let's do some unamusing stuff to amuse myself." Which works only when something mildly amusing gets into this stuff by an accident (e.g. going to DQN as a result of mind-numbing boredom)
I've discovered that I can easily go along with new people I met. If only I had some more people to meet and a better memory for names!..
>>99
I'm the same way. Except that more often than not I keep occupied through creative and intellectual endeavors in which I can sit still for long periods of time... hence my proximity to a computer and small urge to use the internet every once in a while.
Inflicting virtual self harm through watching shitty movies is a lot of fun when done with friends, whether real or virtual.
Right, little plushie? You're my friend, aren't you? You love watching Manos with me. I know you do.
>>100>>102
when i said interesting, it is to me but it might not to anyone watching me. We're very alike >>102 but, it may sound lame, but my adventures on the internet are quite enriching, exploring curious alleyways and weird stuff (often thanks to DQN and other imageboards) which fuels my creativity in my artistic and musical endeavours
Besides all that, although I'm only 22 I feel I've had some wonderful experiences and wild adventures, already plenty of tales to tell my inevitable grandchildren. Unless I do get bored but as I get older and my projects are sort of converging, my original "plan A" of an early grave seems less and less attractive
>>104, why would you need grandchildren when you have the whole net to discover? Think about it.
I just finished watching Umineko No Naku Koro Ni, it was really really good.
Svartby is cool.
It would be nice to have someone to save me from myself, but I can't count on that.
>>107 I've never played a visual novel before. Have I maybe spoiled it a bit by watching the anime first?
I wish people would stop identifying as `gamers'.
Hmm. I had an interesting experience being "that guy" your girlfriend is cheating on you with, ignoring texts and calls because she's in bed with me. Ask me anything.
>>110
I only got interested in the VN after I started watching the anime (I definitely watched the first arc, but I don't remember if I finished the anime). Even if you know what happens in EP1-4, reliving the story again through the VN with much more awesome music and Ryukishi's art feels great, and of course the adaptation skipped a lot of information.
If anything, you'll be more likely to get through the mostly-boring EP1, knowing that the story gets much more interesting later on.
And keep in mind that the anime only covered the first four episodes, and Umineko has eight of them in total, so you only know half of the story at best.
>>113 Say you find the girl who's willing - no, wants you - to carve your name into her body with a razor, and she's perfect in every way and wants to spend the rest of her life with you. But, she lives 300 miles away, and though you visit her regularly you won't properly be together for a few years yet, at least until she finishes high school. Then you meet the girl who's cheating on her boyfriend for you at a party or something, and she wants to go back to your place. Are you worried about hurting the angel who's planned her future around you? Do you tell either about the other? What are you thinking in this situation?
>>116
I've been in that exact situation, hence one reason I can be so detached at this point.

>>125
Oh no no, I'm not depressed or anything; I'm just very bad at being human. I'm discomforted by any direct human contact, I find socialising to be a form of slow torture, I have no desire to be in a relationship with any kind of human and my most prominent interests all involve the analysis of non-living objects.
Also I really like mineral deposits and cloud formations. Oh, how I'd love to be a stratocumulus...
Espeon's guide was dying a terrible death by these natives' poison arrows and he narrowly avoided death himself begging for his life in what few words he knew of their alien tongue. All that was known of it to the rest of the world was learned second-hand from neighboring tribes for no missionary or anthropologist had ventured among them and lived to tell of it. They were a fierce people who ate their enemies and clung tenaciously to this forgotten corner of the Amazon. The thing that brought him here was just a legend but one he had to see for himself and hopefully well-worth all the risks.
Just outside the shamanfs hut his guide still writhed on the ground slowly suffocating as naked children prodded him with sharpened sticks. Shaking, Espeon carefully unfolded a piece of paper. It was drawn in ballpoint pen on stationary from the Centro Hotel in Macapa, from which he had departed sixteen long days ago. The paper was damp from weeks in the jungle and nearly falling apart but the Shaman, when handed it, knew at once what he had drawn. The old man scowls and spits and the other natives shy away from this outburst. In a rasping voice the Shaman speaks to a young man at his side who quickly exits not only the hut but the village into the darkness beyond.
With a simple squint and nod that rustles his headdress, the shaman lets his guest know this is the time to do business. Espeon digs in his pockets for what few trade goods he has left. To these people, travelers checks and cash mean nothing though he would give them all he had for this opportunity. The best he can do is a packet of three Bic lighters in pastel orange, blue, and purple. Producing a flame draws awes from all those gathered except for the shaman who simply nods and puts out his hand for the gift as though it is nothing special. His wrinkled hands add these new lighters to a small animal-skin bag at his side with two others like them but much older; this is the bankroll of his tribe and he has single-handedly more than doubled their wealth.
The young man sent out earlier returns with the treasure and it is handed gingerly to Espeon. It is more breathtaking than he could ever believe: the legendary fruit. It is perfectly shaped in every way, the size of an adolescent boyfs fist, firm and hard to the touch with a thick skin, covered in rows of teardrop shaped nodules that arch and rise from its surface. My God, he mutters to himself and races outside in search of his backpack. The natives have torn into it already and have distributed amongst themselves all he brought with him. Men wear his tattered shirts and nothing more, women wear stripes of toothpaste across their faces, and children are oiled so that they glisten in what little light filters through the dense canopy above.
Losing all composure and forgetting the people hefs amongst he shouts at them, gHow the fuck am I supposed to shove this up my ass without lube??!h
Ah yes, the mittens and this song isn't bad. I'm also wondering why I don't come more often here.

It sucks, but I'm posting it anyway. THE CONTINUING SAGA OF ESPEON, WORLD ADVENTURER/FIEND.
Lee was not his name, but that's what Master Espeon called him and always had since they day they met. Sipping his morning tea, Lee looked out over the expanse of Espeonfs estate. It was hard-won many years ago from the jungles that now only licked its edges. It had seemed foolhardy then to venture so far away from the rest of mankind then but now the orchards were settled and the cashew trees grew strong in orderly rows woven into the hillsides. In the distance, workers laughed and gossiped as they went about their daily routine. Espeon's plantation was so far from the cities that it was but a rumor to its nearest neighbors. As Espeon said it would, the remoteness had its advantages: the government could come and go, the cities could be aflame with riots, but here no tax collector ventured and his workers lived trouble-free lives which were hard to come by in this country.
Despite the tranquility, the plantation was far from profitable and Lee intended to bring this up with Master Espeon as he was here for his yearly visit. As always, he was sleeping in late. Lee's hands shook as he looked over the books. As the manager of a plantation he felt he was ill-prepared with his only other work before coming here had been as a bellboy at the Bangkok Hilton. He longed for that simple job, no matter how lowly it had been, now that he was often forced to be a horticulturist, a justice of the peace, mechanic, and accountant on nearly a daily basis. If Espeon's other ventures abroad--whatever they were--should fail and infusions of cash should ever end, there was no telling what become of this place. Lee feared he would be lynched should the workers not receive their pay.
At last a servant came for Lee and informed him not only that Espeon was awake but had been taking his breakfast for some time. Smoothing back his thinning hair and resisting his urge to yell at the servant for taking so long to carry this message, Lee grabbed the plantation's ledger and ran downstairs to meet with his master. Espeon wore a robe and listened as he ate his breakfast to an old worker who spoke of the many happenings on his farm. Like all the workers that had been here since the beginning showed a great deal of age from years in the sun and from the hard work of clearing the jungle. Despite this, with the master present, he made a point to wear platform shoes, the shortest skirt possible, and a tight tube top that did its best to push up breasts where there were none.
"Master Espeon", Lee spoke with airs of quiet desperation, "Many years ago when I told you that I could get ladyboys for you that would do anything for money, this isnft really what I had in mind..."
My school makes it ridiculously hard to print things. Apparently I have to buy a print card. But the dispenser won't take my money! Browse DQN on a phone. Whenever its dictionary gets filled with captcha, buy a new one.
Idea for a short story: A man wakes up to find himself being held captive in a doorless, windowless room. He is fed breakfast, lunch and dinner through a slot in the wall.
Embedded in the wall is a computer monitor, under which is a keyboard and mouse. The computer has internet access.
First he tries to call for help, e-mailing people he once knew, the police, etc. He is met with a mix of sympathy, disbelief and disdain. Eventually he is able to convince the police of the reality of his situation. However, his internet connection is well-hidden. Despite their best efforts, the police team of hackers cannot determine his location.
As the police try to find him, the man spends his time idly browsing the internet, watching videos, posting on DQN, playing browser MMORPGs, etc. Years pass and the police still cannot locate him.
I thought of two endings. First: He becomes accustomed to his internet lifestyle. When a door finally opens, he realizes he doesn't want to leave.
Second: He finally grows sick of the internet and breaks the monitor, keyboard and mouse in a fit of rage. Then the door opens and he is led to freedom.
Here is the third one: enraged, he destroys his habitat, but his imprisonment is time limited. He spends the rest completely secluded, slowly losing his mind.
Very interesting. I wouldn't mind reading it if you ever feel like writing it.
I feel like there's no real point of "coming-of-age" for my generation. So we have young adults walking around not really feeling any different than they did as teenagers, or even pre-teens.

I agree. There are some guys who act all serious, but there are pre-teens like that. Everything is an act, but only a few people can truly realise and exploit it.

For myself and the really quite intelligent people I knew as a teenager, there has been a very cynical resignation to society/popular culture/government's increasingly absurd microcosms, coupled with an internalization and projection of this unto others in an act of ersatz revenge against the unthinking populous.

I can't remember if I've said this before but there should really be an anime adaptation of Dostoevsky's The Idiot. Myshkin is the perfect straight man protagonist and Rogozhin makes a great pretty lovable villain. Fangirls can write all sorts of slash fiction about the homoerotic tension between them. There's been a shitposter on 'Area lately and his posts are literally painful to read. Why must DQN be VIP and the other one... not so VIP?
It's so much fun posting on 'Area. Fucking bollocks to it, he-he-he.
>>245
Don't worry about it, in my experience they tend to go back and forth. For now I've started posting on dqn instead but I'll probably go back to the area eventually.

You know what's super lame and not worth the investment? Babies. But people keep getting them anyway.
I was trying to study today, but a certain mental image kept bugging me. There was I, a middle-school nerd, standing with a basketball. People shouted, "Dunk it, man!" "Come on, throw a ball, DORK!" "DO IT!" "Look at that dumbo, HEEY I NEED SOME TIME TO THROW A BALL PROPERLY" "DUNK!!"
But I couldn't I was too scared of fucking it up and just stood there.

Dear Espeon:
Sorry about not posting your fan-fiction last week. It grew well beyond a sketch and would have upset a lot of people in this thread if I had posted it here. As I'm not sure it could ever be pared down sufficiently and still retain its filthy integrity, I'll just give you a summary:
You sparked a nuclear war through your role in the accidental erotic asphyxiation death of Kim Jong-un.
--Your biggest fan.
This is very inspiring, >>270! I appreciate your work.
272 is a pretty nice number.
273 minus 77 equals Espeon's number in pokédex.
My date today went so well that when she got home her sister and mother were hugging her saying she should move back home with me and marry me. Should i be incredibly pleased with myself or a little nervous?
>>274
What the fuck is going on here? We need details. Make them up or whatever.
So what happened? She immediately told her family all about the date the second you walked back in the door? If so, why were you there for this? Were you just standing there awkwardly the whole time or did you learn about this later?
Are you both older? As in, would they like her to move out ASAP? Is your culture the marrying type? (Jew/Mormon)
>>275 well I've only met her a few times, because we live 300 miles apart, but ever since the first time we met we've stayed in touch every day talking on bebo etc. That was actually only the 4th time I've met her, and our first actual date. This is because she lives maybe 40 miles from my hometown but I moved away to go to university. Anyways, leading up to it she said I should draw her a picture and she knitted me a little teddy. I put a lot more effort into the picture than I normally do, even my paid commissions, and it included just various things about us and things we've said and things that have happened between us, and >>274 LOVES [her name] FOREVER XXXX
The date was like a fairytale, the only thing that would have made it better is if we weren't in a shithole town haha. I bought her lunch then we walked through the park then wandered round the cemetery. Then we got on our separate buses back home. When I got back we were chatting on facebook and said they were asking her about it, and they saw the picture and were so happy for her, saying she should chase me. But chasing implies I'm running away and I'm certainly not.
I'm just a bit older than her, she's of legal age to get married but she wouldn't be able to celebrate with a drink. But we've talked a long time about our inevitable wedding and honeymoon. Nothing would make me happier than being with her, I'm just nervous about the distance (I can't move back because I run a business in my city and I think she wants to stay in the country) and also that she still has the best few years of her life coming up whereas I'm almost at the end of mine, I hope I don't get in the way

I hate living downtown, it's so fucking noisy!
I am 31 and I still play DND. I don't want to, but my friends keep showing up at my house and expecting to play. It's starting to get awkward now that some of them have kids. What's going to happen when those kids are old enough to realize that we are lame fucks?
OH wait, all kids think their parents are lame. Ours will just have scientific proof.
Damn, I'm so lazy. Everything bores me. Having taught myself philosophy and esoteric maths after dropping out of school at the absurd age of fifteen, the universe of six years later seems so desperately dull... Nothing challenges me. So I exercise, learn and create for a bit out of distraction until, offended by routine, lethargy strikes and I am back to either sleeping or masturbating copiously.
Such is the like of a hikikomori, I suppose.
I wish my body would recover from cumming faster so I could do it more often.

My friend was already high when I got there. There was a bit left in the bong so I took a hit from it. I think "dro" marijuana was in the bong. I had brought a Colt .45 (32oz malt liquor) which I finished pretty quickly. A few hours passed before the next guy shows up with "hash" marijuana. There was four of us together, and we smoked a gram of the hash.

Hey, I just watched that too. The acting is superb, the cinematography hypnotic. However, I found the narrative somewhat disappointing. After a promising beginning, it moves suddenly into a crime subplot that's too predictable. The film deserves something a bit more subtle. Overall it was excellent, however.
Mourning for the death of the discoverer of the land of S-expressions.
>>365 yes haha, I'm not very good at watching things that are a bit gruesome, the bit where the guy's head gets stamped in wasn't too bad but the bit with the guy stabbing the other guy in the eye then in the throat loads of times, I started getting tunnel vision and flopped out unconscious, and my friends woke me up haha.
>>368 ah I thought the plot was excellent, but I knew what the film was about first anyway. Right from the start though I regarded it as basically a movie of a grand theft auto game, how the character is portrayed and the cutscenes and stuff
>>369 it has not been a good month for people who know that that means.

Why are my VCs so fucking awesome recently? Today alone I've had:
Time for a social experiment:
Many many weeks ago, www.yourworldoftext.com/dqn was quite an active place (well, as active as anything DQN ever is). This included a massive expedition to the East. From x:100 to x:300, the landscape was replaced with a line of text. This text included, at one point, a list of everything visible to me at the time of writing. This included a poster, next to my computer monitor, of a certain animal, which I described in nauseating detail.
My question to you, DQN, is can you remember what animal is on my poster?

Today's rat got his little face crushed in and lived (for awhile). In an effort to escape, he leapt off the top shelf of the shed and found terra firma. I don't know, but I don't give a shit about him either.
I do, however, think of him as one of the lame tier super heroes as his abilities aren't all that amazing.
I was thinking that I was always looking at the past and remembering how good of a time I always used to have. But if I so fondly look at the past like that perhaps the present isn't as bad as I make it out to be.
The Secret Area of VIP Quality definitely no longer quality anymore because of that shit poster (you'll know the one if you go there) the admin seems to think livens the atmosphere and hence allows him to keep shitting up the board. Don't get me wrong; the "don't think, feel" philosophy is one that I certainly agree with. But there's another one that's also important: "Shit posts are not quality." I really love the SAOVQ, but I've been feeling more at home here recently.
>>405
Possibly the best part about that place is how after every shitpost a couple people will helpfully chime in "Off to the tanasinn chamber!" or something else to that effect. It certainly livens the place up a bit, don't you think?
Speaking of tanasinn, I always thought DQN to be more tanasinn than VIP. The latter should live with its "shit posts aren't quality" mindset.
I'm getting more and more depressed in my university. Or, well, because of skipping it almost every day. I guess I'm knee-deep in trouble, but I try not to think about it. But then I still DO think about it. Hopefully this post will ease up my mind a little bit.
It's just I'm at that impasse again: study all day long a couple of weeks to catch up or just let it drift until I receive a notice of expulsion. Again.

I'm getting really sick of all you people in that demanding things of the last poster thread. You can't come in, go "Hey, fuck you guy before me!" and then start pushing others around. We got a pecking order here in the DQN, see? You gotta start at the bottom and work your way up. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. If the previous poster says, "go on 4chan," you do it! If he says "spend time on something creative," you know what? It's not like you were going to use those ten minutes for anything! Jerk off to your Fate/Zero porn another time, sweet Saber will be there waiting for you. And you know what? If someone tells you to commit seppaku, it is your duty, your moral imperative, to commit seppaku. I mean fuck, I'd commit even commit seppaku on camera. I have a sword and a webcam. Just tell me when.

I promise that I tried really hard, but committing seppuku with Sonic is impossible. It really just is. You should try it out yourself.
>>425
I agree it's more fun if everybody puts in effort to keep up with the demands. However, you can't realistically expect too much from the average lazy DQNer. I am a little sad that nobody spent time on my demand to make something creative. But such is DQN.
>>428
I was actually about to do that when the next guy posted. I was going to make a crude 10 minute MS paint drawing of Espeon on a bicycle. In retrospect, I'm happy that I didn't because my MS paint drawings are quite a bit below the average quality of an average MS paint drawing.
We should have some almost-oekaki exchange thread, but we'd be too lazy to post in it and it'd die.
>>428 I saw your post and was disappointed that there were three posts after you, because I would have put a lot of effort into a 10 minute creative piece for you.
I often tag my creations with DQN on various content hosting sites...
(@PtP;) Thank you for telling me about the super fun party that you didn't invite me to. Really, interesting stuff.
If I were to move into a large house with 5-8 other /jp/ anons in it, how fucked would I be?
>>433
As someone who has lived with three other nerds/otaku, I can say this has the potential to be, as these things are wont, either really awesome or really awkward. There was an implicit respect of intellect and personal boundaries which formed an almost familial relation between us all, comfortable as we were around one another. Everyone enjoyed anime, online games, MTG, science, technology, and when one found something particularly witty or interesting online, he could blurt it out expecting rapt appreciation from all present.
But, as >>434 notes, we were horrendously unkempt. Dishes and discarded food packaging cluttered every free surface, picked up only on absentminded impulse. A woman, one roommates sister, was present at times and would clean whenever she felt it necessary (which fortunately was a lot more often than us). Everything in the sink was cleaned weekly by each resident in turn, yet till then the kitchen resembled some post-apocalyptic smorgasbord of ceramic, glass and plastic.
And so, knowing that, would you still take the chance?

Dear PeTA:
You haven't changed my mind at all and thanks for the picture.
I had mephedrone last night for the first time in like a year last night, completely out of the blue. And I just got 3 pretty good job offers today. And a beautiful young lady is travelling 300 miles to fuck me in a couple of weeks.
I wish I could share my joy with some of the dokyuns here who I think could do with some~
My, she certainly pulled off that fairy look really well.
I am doing well so far in not eating today. It was mostly because I am NEET that I managed to shave off six of those hours, but I will keep this up and enjoy my cold dinner at 12 A.M./00:00.
>>433
I give it 3 days before the house fills up with used tissues and encrusted ona-holes.
Oh my god, that last poster in the Demanding from the next poster thread, that was beautiful!
I've successfully completed the challenge of not eating for an entire day.
>>436
I love these campaigns. I sort of feel like I should stop eating meat out of gratitude, but it's so darn tasty.
My girlfriend's period is a week late. It's probably because of the stress of moving to a new country and getting a new and tiring job but that doesn't stop me from being extremely worried~
Damn, talk about out of my league...
Everyone seems to make such quality posts in the demanding thread...I'm afraid to post there...
I haven't been DQN in such a long time... I wonder what happened in the past 500 days.
My classmates are idorts.
>>450
If by quality, you mean that I spend 3592359 paragraphs trying to explain something then sure...
On a side note, my cycling route was amazing. Going out is fun sometimes. You should all try it!
>>454
I had much less of an aversion to going outside and taping that Haruhi drawing to an inanimate child because I had to bike around a park to get to it :3
Is it just me, or are we DQNs a lot different from the people who post on the other boards? Just browse the personal and culture boards... who are these people?
>>459 This is my favourite thread because I like to think what kind of person would be a regular poster on /dqn/, it seems to be a small pool of very odd individuals. Some things people say here, on one hand scares me a little sometimes, but on the other hand I like to think we would share some sort of camaraderie.
To be honest I've never actually explored anywhere else on 4-ch.net, so I might use your post as an excuse to.

I personally post on the other boards, but not often. Perhaps each board is assigned one regular user and only he/she posts there? It would make sense given the lack of traffic.
I sort of understand what you mean though. Some of the other boards have quite regular posts like those you would find in a `normal' discussion board. And that's okay!
Continuations are a low-level Hourai elixir.
>>462 Of course, I'd consider myself one of those odd individuals haha, I dread to think someone I know IRL would stumble across this board and recognise some of the things I've said.
I'm just a simple NEET, don't mind me ( LΦ`)
The other boards are pretty slow and boring compared to /dqn/ but they aren't all bad. In fact four years ago /love/ actually helped me get my first girlfriend.
The thread is 1173252727. Ah, I was such a young and immature fool back then. It's extremely embarrassing to go back and read it.
Anyway, for anybody curious about the end of that story, we stayed together for over two years, then we "took a break" while she went to study abroad, and that's where it ended.
Is this real? I kind of want to believe the queen actually did that...
Haha I want to know what Morrissey thinks
I'm not sure if I'm happy being a creeper.
>>469
How are you a creeper? Tell us about creepy things you do in as much detail as possible. You're anonymous here, so cut out details that could personally identify yourself and others, but go wild besides that.
I haven't caught a rat all week. All of my disgusting little friends may have gone to infest the big garden shed in the sky.
It feels like my life lacks purpose all of a sudden. Is it too corny to call it empty rat nest syndrome?
>>471
Everyone does that.
I feel like shit. I've been feeling like shit for the past 24 hours.
>>472
I don't enjoy sexual pleasure, actually. Is this normal?
>>474
I bet the Pope masturbates.
Just think of that every time you are tempted. That old German troll just looking you in the eyes while he does it with that creepy-ass "smile."
You can thank me later.
>>474
If you don't enjoy it, then why do you call it pleasure? Say "I don't enjoy orgasm" instead, maybe.
>>479
I demand that you write the DQN time at the time of reading on your stomach. Get a camera and record yourself masturbating.
>>476
Excitation of the nerve endings in such a case is just commonly called pleasure. I suppose I could have said, "I don't like the penile excitation of nerve endings". But that would have sounded silly.

Guess what's on the FRONT PAGE of the Wall Street Journal, guys...
>BERKELEY, Calif. -- Fifteen young men in this hotbed of activism gathered at an Indian restaurant on a recent Sunday and made an appeal: Could the waiter please switch from the news to "My Little Pony"?
>Then the men heaped their plates with curry and clustered around tables to absorb the Pony cartoon, share trivia about characters and play show-and-tell with the various plastic Pony toys they had brought along.
>Meet the self-described "bronies."
This isn't the weekly independent. Fuck no, this is the WALL STREET JOURNAL. What is going on?

A bunch of fags are doing a bunch of stupid shit because they can and trying to force some stupid shit onto other people. It's only a matter of time till these cock suckers get taken down for being annoying, stupid fucks that need to die.

WSJ Story continued...
>It wasn't supposed to be this way. When Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Communications Inc. revived the "My Little Pony" franchise on a new network called The Hub, an executive told investors the remake was for "the three- to six-year old girl and her mom, ho has fond memories of 'My Little Pony' from her childhood."
>...In an email, a Hasbro spokeswoman said of the bronies: "From what we've seen, they are a small group of 'My Little Pony' fans who don't necessarily fit what one might expect of the brand's target audience."
lol
>Some bronies disdain Hasbro's Pony figurines, which they find too commercial and not "show accurate." A pet peeve: On TV, Princess Celestia is a heavenly white, but the toy is cotton-candy pink. So the bronies frequently buy unofficial merchandise including treasures such as pipe-cleaner Ponies.

I think they're trying to transcend irony by creating an infinite loop of it.

Huh. I'm starting to understand how people can think we're so pathetic just for enjoying anime.
>>491 don't you feel pathetic watching anime? I always do, i just don't mind it

Hey, I'm better than these people! It's not like I go to meetups... except for all those conventions... hmm. And it's not like I spend money on it... except for all this shit on my wal--FUCK!
Well, at least cumming on figures of cute anime girls is less creepy than doing it to ponies.
Plus, cleaning their manes afterwards must be one hell of a job for those guys. Probably they enjoy it the same way some people love using rifles: shoot them, clean them.
I work with horses for a living and how anyone can find them cute is beyond me.
When did horses become girly anyway? They're very functional animals that were used by knights and cowboys. Next we'll be making plush toys of bears.

Here is some less commonly known knowledge about ghosts: A person's self is his memories. How we remember our world and our actions is who we are. A ghost isn't a spirit as much as it is memories leaked into the world. When a person dies suddenly, his memories release themselves into the world and embed themselves into their surroundings. If the person's will is left intact, a ghost is formed. This is why ghosts tend to be found in the places they spent the most time in while they were alive, in places with strong associated feelings, and are often victims of violent deaths (which literally eject the spirit). May this help you on your quest.
IGNORE THIS OKAY
Ghosts, it turns out are mostly carbon monoxide leaks and improperly sealed doors and windows.

The immediacy of response makes the internet seem like an all-knowing mother, giving you the illusion of control as you allow others to dictate your life. The computer is a powerful instrument, but don't let it become a crutch. Use it as a tool, not a guru.
Like I was saying, once upon a time there a little boy on the Internet named Espeon and he kept writing threatening statements about the President forums for some faggoty anime-themed M-P-O-R-Nc. er, M-M-P-O-R-G and these scary guys from the Secret Service showed up in SUVs and suits and woke him up at one in the afternoon on a day he had to work the graveyard shift. When 4chan goes down, my mental state deteriorates.
>>557
Really? I find I become much more intelligent and have a more profound outlook on life. I then realise how terrible 4chan is and solemnly swear that, even when it's back up, I will never visit it ever again.
One day I will listen to myself.
Tee hehe, I haven't visited that place in about 4 years or so. Don't intend to do so anymore.
Today I found a little friend sitting on my walls, but he ran away from me. Then I realized that even the bugs don't like me anymore.
I don't know why, but I stop paying attention and suddenly end up doing stupid shit just to see how the person I'm with will react to it.
It's does produce decent data, however.

I often do this. Though I think it's mostly because of the dreamlike state I enter whenever I leave my bedroom. Oh, the joys of being a NEET!
I binge-watched all of Community season 1 in three days. I love its clever wit and variety of humor. I dislike the minor harem thing going on with the main character and the implications that strength and feminism are Britta's weak points.
And I have mixed feelings about the season finale. On the one hand it was exactly the ending I was expecting and hoping for, on the other hand I felt uncomfortable when I realized this.
The first Pokemon Generation was the best Generation. This doesn't mean the other Generations suck, but they are just not as memorable and nostalgic as the First.
>>564
Of course. Though the sprites sucked and walking was a pain.
>>565
I know, it sure made everything finer and the ability to travel to Kanto again blew my mind back then.
I just replayed Crystal again on the PC, because I sold it and my Gold version is broken. After I finished it, I realized that I prefer the first Gen more. But it's all opinions after all.
>the sprites sucked
Well, that's more likely again a matter of how you view it. I have to say, since almost every Pokemon got a unique sprite in R/B and Yellow, which makes 302 sprites, the quality of it is pretty high. Yet, the backsprites cause different views and I personally like them.
>walking was a pain
I think you just might got used to the running shoes. I wasn't bothered of the slow-down when you entered a building.
When I was playing Gold for the first time, I missed the guy who offers a free bike to player. I was quite surprised by the price of it and had to develop a schedule of beating Elite Four. I gave up on it pretty quick though.
The idea of some kid making a million just to waste it on a fucking bike still amuses me.
Is it just me or DQN got really crowded when 4chan went down?

It kind of pisses me off whenever I see futanari abbreviated as "futa". That part of the word literally means "two". It comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of how Japanese abbreviation works ("futa" implies "futanari" only in compound forms, and only with clear context). And that's turrible.
herpes outbreak
It kind of pisses me off whenever I see dubstep abbreviated as "dub". Dub is a subgenre of reggae music, taking its name from the production technique of dubbing the tracks in a recording differently, in the studio. Dubstep in the beginning was using dub production techniques in 2-step and garage tracks, but doesn't bear much resemblance to what many would call dubstep today.

I think futanari specifically defines animated/drawn in the Japanese style and there's usually some (weak) story. Dickgirl is just girl with dick. It's kind of like people who argue about the definition/use of the term "anime."

I was going to make a wall decoration that would be a monument to catching 14 rats. I was going to get a stuffed rat and put it in a trap and hang it on the wall. It was just going to be a weird little joke.
In doing this, I discovered a line of stuffed toys by a company called Kosen. They're highly realistic. OH yeah, and they're $70. What the fuck kind of market is there for such a toy?
I was thinking about it and if you took a picture of your kids with this toy just sitting in the background, the photo processor might see it and be convinced that your child lived in a rat infested house and call the authorities. They're that good...
>>614
Why are you so obsessed with rat murder?

>>614
When you said $70, I was actually ready to buy one. I'm one of those guys willing to spend $70 on good stuff. I'm slowly but surely getting a collection of various plushies.
Sadly, all of the good animals are quite a bit more than $70. That $214 turtle looks rather pretty, so does the $152 crocodile. That $430 limited edition anteater will make me jealous forever. But I can't say that I have that kind of money sitting around.
Plushophiles' joy and pleasure
>>620
You seem to know too much about this...
I'm not going to destroy a high-end collectible toy for the sake of an inside joke. With that in mind, what do you know of competing brands, knock-offs, and counterfeits?
I was going to mock the other recent posters in this thread until I looked at Kosen's web page. It leaves me strangely wistful for a childhood I never had, stuffed rats and all. ( o_o)
I just finished infamous for the second time, went the evil route this time. The game's fun, but the story is so disappointing and the dialogue makes me cringe. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, the dialogue only changes a little and everything is pretty much the same, even the ending.
And you can't skip the credits, fuck you sucker punch i've already read them all
My current thoughts are on my own stuffed animal. My only plushie or furry thing was a goddamn panda and I have to say that it looked much better than any of these pandas on the Kosen website, they look really awkward. I loved it with all my heart, since it was the only stuffed toy I ever had. Allergic children have it so rough huggable-toys-wise.
I remember my mom put it in a special bag which was used in combination with the vacuum cleaner in order to vacuum seal and or clean stuff. At least that's what I was told, who knows what sick designs were behind her actions.
I still kind of have a strange desire for really big, fluffy, huggable things. It's like I never had enough huggable things in my life. I should be content with what I got, but when I see really big stuffed toys I feel this urge to hold them.

I don't really know that much about it (being a more recent hobby of mine), but unsurprisingly, all collectibles cost actual money. Kosen is pretty much the most expensive place that I know of (but it's at least partly justifiable through quality).
Homemade stuff from Etsy & other marketplace sites can be really good for the prices but will probably still exceed your budget. Decent stuff starts at $30 shipped.
There's two basic rules that I've seen to avoid crap. First, only buy stuff with 1 in stock/with "group photos" including everything made (the "what you see is what you get" rule). Second, avoid buying stuff that doesn't show off the entire creation because the people that know what they're doing know that people that know what they're buying want to see the entire thing.
As for knockoffs/counterfeits, eBay is as usual 50% counterfeit, 20% big sellers selling above full price to suckers that get in a bidding war, 20% real but used and 10% scammers. Fakes vary in quality far too much to say anything conclusive about them; there's stuff that'll randomly fall apart and there's things that look perfectly the same and feel arguably better than the originals.
And of course, everyone has seen and knows of the standard $5 unlabeled crap from China. Toy stores and souvenir shops always have some around. Generally far from lifelike, but really the only sane option for destruction.
>>628
Thank you for showing me Etsy. There are a bunch of amazing things that may bankrupt me immediately.

I think philosophy helped greatly in my acceptance of various types of creative expression, if for no other reason than that it imparted a greater habit of universal contemplation. What could exist, why, and all its infinite permutations. Every aspect of human advancement simply draws from alternate interpretations of the world we see. A tree's dense wooden rivulets of bark inspire the artist to explore its flowing forms by imagery, while the scientist seeks ratiocination. Maybe it acted as the bridge between the two extremes of mathematical and artistic/theatric thought.
But it's also important to believe you can, without a doubt, achieve competence in whatever you set out to study. Don't be full of yourself. Trust logic and the most obvious answer. If you recall a paragraph about say, surface integration, to the point where you could recreate some equation, apply it and explain its meaning, chances are that you most likely understood what you'd just read. Sadly enough, a lot of people are hindered by nothing but some constant, irrational fear of failure, regardless of the topic at hand. If the piece fits, however, then it's the correct one.
Obvious methods to improve skills requiring intricate dexterity would be finger tapping, drumming, pen twirling. Typing does help keep joints straight while impacting the tips of your fingers, yet this is only a small part of any dexterous activity. Practice hand-eye co-ordination. If sketching, don't be afraid to make large sweeps or repetitive strokes.
I hope this helps somewhat.

When I was younger, I played Starcraft a lot. One night I actually had a dream in which all that happened was that I played Starcraft. I remember it was a desert themed map, with compound buildings in a circle around the edge and a huge plateau in the centre. I was playing as Terran. Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary happened; it was just an average game of Starcraft.
Last night I dreamed about Minecraft, and it was not for the first time. I've also had a handful of Touhou dreams, but not nearly as many as I would like. Touhou dreams are the best dreams.

I understand how you feel. I used to dream about playing Quake. I'd just play "online" in my head. Nothing extraordinary about it. I started to go a wee bit crazy since the dreams were too realistic and normal, and I began to think I was actually playing online matches while I slept. Fortunately I knew a few regular players and asked them if I had been on, but they assured me I hadn't and suggested I stop playing for a while. I did just that and became sane again.

There's a button which, if you press it, you get 10,000 dollars! However, first you are sent into a dimension of nothingness, where you will be stuck for 500,000,000 years with nothing but your thoughts to keep you company. After this hellish existence, you will be transported back to the moment you pressed the button, with all your memories erased. Would you press it?
Such is the topic of this manga. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an English translation of it.
http://umashika-news.jp/archives/51950055.html
As one commenter so adroitly puts it, "±ρΘDQNΆαάNΕΰFπΕ«Θ’Ύλ " (these DQNs wouldn't be able to understand the meaning of space even with 500,000,000 years lololol)
>>670
500 billion years alone with my thoughts? That's worth far more than any amount of money!
>>670
Sounds more like the main point of the button would be the tine you spend alone rather than the money. Can you commit suicide in the nothingness somehow?
Wait, you instantly forget your time in the 500M years of nothingness? Then there are no consequences at all, basically. Unfortunately, I'd rather have all that time and memories of it. It's too bad you can't bring a book (or all books ever printed in every language, given the time frame).
Also, you need only press the button 28 times to exist longer than the universe. Awesome.
I love the idea of this manga. But unlike a depicted person, I'd spend my time filling that space with my cum.
>>670
My memories of that time will be erased? Fuck that shit! I want to keep track of the entire time and keep that information as data!
I'll probably go insane from being alone for so long, but I want to experience that and I want to know just how much of that my piece of shit mind can take.
Just thinking about it makes me hard.
No, you can't commit suicide. The question isn't just about whether or not you would press it, but also if 500 million years of existence has any meaning if nobody remembers it.
Spoilers: The guy goes insane at first, but eventually starts scratching equations and shit into the floor and apparently reaches complete understanding of the universe. But of course, as soon as he reaches enlightenment he's transported back to Earth and has no memory, so he's all "Cool, nothing happened! Let's press it again..."
>Just thinking about it makes me hard.
I just want to make sure this is perfectly clear: you get sexually aroused at the prospect of being locked up in a realm of absolute nothingness and being mentally tortured.
Additionally, why 'piece of shit' mind?
I wonder how existentialism would pan out, knowing that those 500-millions years will essentially be worthless if you couldn't recall them in order to make any contribution to the external world.
Provided in that 500M years there is no way to kill yourself, and that you won't remember what happened and that you come back the instant you pressed the button... Whats the point of NOT pressing the button?
I wouldn't press it. The idea of losing my memories frightens me.
Exactly. The 500M years of solitude is the selling point and I'd want to remember it. On the other hand, would you remember much of anything of your life given a 500M year break from it? Might you forget all of your relatives and go completely insane (and then sane again, and then insane for millions of years at a time). Chances are you'd return from 500M of nothingness an absolutely destroyed wreck of a creature...
If you remembered 500M of nothingness, it might in fact be the most comfortable place for you and you'd just instantly return there, the world of things being too much for you. You'd end up being the ultimate hikikomori.
Damn it. I hate these alternating periods of stunning genius and self-loathing destruction. I have to know everything and yet I am obsessed with archaic pleasures and the base passions of human emotion. It does comfort me to find solace in the recollection of great minds whose lives mine reflect, eg. Poe, Schroedinger, Russell and the like. But they are much more refined than perhaps I shall ever be, which makes my case seem all the more hopeless...
At first I was going to describe my experience with untreated anxiety disorder, but screw it. I used to feel like >>685. However, nowadays I usually just start looking for some random drawn porn as soon as I feel a [possibly] brilliant idea coming up. Or, well, when I think about my life and easy ways to fix it. They are really easy, but yet impossible for me. I better touch my junk some more instead.

You are me. I've been working on a game for the better part of 3 months. And by working, I mean that I have something that displays an empty window and some stupidly bad programmer art (just some MS paint shapes). I know how to make all of this stuff but I can't be bothered. I want to make all of this stuff but I can't be bothered making all of this stuff. It's that feel you can't describe.

Hahaha. I shouldn't have read my girlfriend's chat logs. Now I'm all incensed and irritated over some seemingly innocuous, trivial conversation she had with some guy while staying at my house. She seemed really excited that they shared interest in a few stupid shows and animes. Hahahahahaha.

Evidently this town has a tourism commission and I have no idea why. From the transcript of the latest city council meeting:
>It turns out the only reason people visit this shit town is its proximity to the air force base. Can we build another one? No? OK. Well, on our four month fact-finding trip to places that actually attract tourists, we discovered that they all have one thing in common: nice weather. We've devised a plan to ship the entire town to Long Beach, reassemble it on enormous pontoons, and then tow it 1,600 miles to the southwest. If we purchased every boat on craigslist at the moment... What? No, I'm totally taking my medication, Mr. Mayor. You don't need to call security, I'll leave...
I feel incredibly depressed. For no reason. I hate this. I'd go to YouTube and look at some cats or whatever but I can't be bothered. I'm not tired and it's 4. I don't feel like doing anything.

Everything is pretty much meaningless. If tomorrow humankind ceased to exist, it would make no difference.
Except for the fact that it would make a difference to us. I don't know about you, but the teenage angst stuff gets old past 13.
Parents 'subtly' pressuring me to go on to do honours at university, despite the fact that it's rapidly becoming deprecated and pursuing an honours in modern history is hardly likely to make me any more employable at the end. Not only that, but I bullshitted up some proposal just because I was being pressured and would hate to actually study it.
More infuriating is the fact that the first thing my parents did upon finding out that I'd received some mail from the history department informing me that I was likely eligible for honours was to ring up all the family friends and say "He's eligible! He's eligible he's an honours kid!". Goddamnit guys way to try and force a decision.
Whining like this is hardly conducive to getting shit done so yeah. LJ bullshit out.
Oh look, everything's fine today. Possibly. Apart from this gigantic Dungeon Defenders update when I was just going to play it. Steam totally ruined my day and it only just started.

I am unaccountably happy today.

i usually watch an episode of an anime with a meal, just now i'm up to series two episode 16 of school rumble... i liked series 1 but series 2 has felt like it's treading water a bit for a while, though it's picking up again. Some of the newer characters are pretty annoying I'm looking forward to the end, I hope they don't just milk it more.
Had to break into my own house just now.

I feel fear for some irrational reason. I cannot understand why when I am in a sealed room, alone.
I am a beast of nature and logic.
I pick fish out of water with my beak.
I used to read a lot of fanfiction, and whenever I am curious about a new series/manga/whatever one of the first things I do is to look for fanfiction about it. But in the last few years I am seeing less and less decent, readable fanfiction and more and more instances of what I can only describe of some poor soul opening a vein and spraying pure, distilled autism all over the screen. It is proactively and hostilely acutely unpleasant to read. "Ghastly" is not too strong a word. It's already been enough to turn me off several promising series, and sometimes I ponder giving up on amateur fiction altogether.
My mother wants a specific book for Christmas. It's about local history, so not mass-produced and not on Amazon or any online retailer for that matter. OK. Find the publisher. It's in Quebec and that's really far away from HERE. Weird but whatever. Can you order online? NO. You can e-mail them through a form, though. OK. I e-mail them and expect to get a form I can print out and remit with payment. Weeks pass. Nothing. Today I get the book itself in the mail. I never paid them.
This business model terrifies and confuses me...
>>750
You'd be surprised what you can get for free with an interest in local-ish history. There are lots of old men that care more for telling stories than getting money.
Lately I keep overhearing people talk shit about me behind my back. At least, talking shit about people whose descriptions sound way too similar to mine for me to write it off as a coincidence.
Maybe I'm just getting paranoid, but it's pissing me off.
You know that one guy who posts sometimes here on DQN and is really paranoid? For example, he posted in the post your current thought thread just recently. Yeah, you know who I'm talking about. Anyway, he smells.

What's peculiar is that you equate mallard taste in entertainment, and potential derision from birds who do not share the same seed, with the systematic poaching of avians based on the nest into which they were born. No one has ever been denied feathers, wings, talons, or even a beak due to their fondness for these eggs, while people at this moment suffer from this and more merely because of the color of their plumage, including in societies that have claimed to banish this boogieman. this boogie, boogie, boogie boogiema~an. There is a VIP and reddit conspiracy to make visitors of DQN fight among themselves and generally stop having fun.
They pay poor people $0.5 per post to make provocative or offensive posts to influence opinions of general DQN public.
DQN will pay you $0.78 per quality post. Just post your routing number with your post for an instant transfer!

In honor of Dear Leader and the fact that I'm sick at the moment, I've decided to post excerpts from Espeon's adventure in North Korea. I stopped writing it because it went on too long and also fuck you. That's why.
The best thing about an assignment in Pyongyang was that after ten o'clock at night, you could drive at two hundred and fifty kilometers per hour right down the Boulevard of Socialism's Victory and not a single cop is willing or able to stop you. Diplomatic plates on a flashy black German car helped but were only a small part of the equation. For the most-part, a lowly civil servant on seeing something of this nature assumed it was just important Party business and was completely unwilling to intercede. If they managed to see the lack of a party emblem, what few cops there were on the streets after dark all drove ancient Soviet-made two-stroke Ladas whose top speed peaked at around ninety and that was only if they were dropped from an airplane.
The store for foreigners was pathetic these days. The shelves on last visit contained two packets of dried Miso soup, a solitary roll of toilet paper, and six pack of Heineken beer with one bottle replaced by a dreadful and often entirely uncarbonated local brand... in a can. So it was that the Swedish mission in Beijing had to ship everything to them and packed up all they needed including diesel packed into three liter cans for their generator and shipped it by air every week to the Swedish mission here. Ultimately, this inability for Westerners to do without amounted to 8% of Air Koryo's overall business last year. The Nepalese mission a few doors down just happily lived with power outages and scraping by for food. Perhaps it reminded them of the good old daysc
The second best thing about an assignment in Pyongyang was that was a good story to tell and foreign newspapers and intelligence agencies would always come to you once you were home to ask you all about your experiences, sheltered as though they may be. It wasnft like you could so much as leave the city without a minder and the localsf standard greeting for foreigners was quiet panic and to cross an empty eight-lane road to get away from you. It wasnft as though there was anything to actually do, either: North Koreans werenft allowed to leave the country, Swedes werenft allowed to visit, and there was absolutely no trade between the two. Their only real job was to serve as the neutral voice of the West should any American fool stumble into the country on a mission of God or a misguided sense of adventure. Then it was a matter of making sure the North Koreans didnft beat their prisoner to death and call the office of an ex-President to come and retrieve them.
... and it just goes on like that. But most of it's on my other computer and it's not very good. But yeah, Espeon inadvertently starts WWIII after getting involved in fatal kinky sex with Kim Jong-Eun. That's all.
Also suck it. I'm tired and delirious.
>>850
I liked that a lot.
On an unrelated note, I've somehow waited years to listen to Act II from The Protomen. It's beautiful and I'm in tears.

It should indeed be either that or Katawa na Shoujo, if you are going to use it in a sentence. When it comes to titles, though, Japanese tend to omit the particles they don't deem necessary. Notice how e.g. the Tale of Genji is called Genji Monogatari as opposed to Genji no Monogatari.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one posting in text-boards.
>>944 I think of posting on textboards as a cute little patch in the wonderful quilt that is me (ά€ά)
> Besides, the title came from a native Japanese speaker's idea so....
True, but don't forget they still got a few things wrong. Handshaking and such.

What is "now"? How is one distinct from one's surroundings? How is it so easy to become lost in the vicissitudes of everyday life?
My birth, life, and death are completely and perfectly embodied within a singular, swirling, multitudinous instant. Am I okay with this?

Stupid catchy power a cappella, this must be the 50th time I've listened to the song the past week.
I got a bitchin' knife yesterday. It has the Star of Life on it, so I guess that it might be a knife meant for EMS. It's edge seems to be surgically sharp, so I can definitely fuck somebody up if I were to use it on them.
there is a blank file on my hard drive called "Francesca Lucchini says", no extension, no size, no path in properties. i cannot delete it in any way

Just stopped mid-masturbation to google "what percentage of uk are amputees", didn't find any clear statistics straight away, then made this post
I wonder what would a penis-given girl with diabetes' semen taste like after drinking at least one litre of apple juice. Probably delicious.
Note to self: schizoid personality does not mix well with clingy girlfriend.
Why am I so exhausted? It's not like I've actually done anything today.
Dammit, after reading http://4-ch.net/dqn/kareha.pl/1314324451/455 I want to know if it's feasible to turn a transport heli into a motor home.
Also, why does refreshing the captcha sometimes not work on Google Chrome lately

I've been having problems with it in FF. So I don't think it's our browser.
Also use Iron instead.

I'm my own girlfriend.
And I'm proposing to myself on DQN.
Oh wow I just got asked to play guitar live in a 3D hatsune miku concert in 2013, how exciting!

Delete your cookies. I think the problem might be 4-ch setting multiple of them and getting confused.

Might as well just use Chromium.

Don't shatter my dreams, yet, DQN.
How do I get out of the responsibilities of my life without suicide and/or debilitating head injuries?
All of a sudden, this thread is nearly over. Scary.

it's still early days in the project; when i said to the guy in charge I'd help I thought I'd be like designing logos and doing artwork for it but now he's asked me to play guitar too. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say about progress, but it's all rather exciting!
I feel like shit. I hate everything. I know this feeling will go away by the afternoon but for now I just want to crawl into bed and disappear.
I'm happy for you, >>983,990-san

May I come? We can do a pajama party if you like! Also, if I covered up my tripcode and we all snuggled together like three dokyuns, it'd be an all-DQN sleepover with all posters present!ww
So I've discovered the best video game ever: Turbo Floorplan Home and Land Professional version 12.
Damn this is hot - needs more tongue twisters

That reminds me, when I was young, I went to a museum where they had a computer with an example of floorplanning software used by architects. Placing those walls and doors on the virtual blueprint was the most fun experience in my life. I begged my parents to get it for me, but the closest they could find was the 3D "virtual homespace builder", which although fun in its own way, was nothing like the simple but beautiful 2D floor plan maker I was looking for.

^^ My mother had this game for the Commodore 64. As kids, we liked to make fucked up houses: solid red walls, rooms full of washing machines.
Basically, my favorte video game of the moment is the Sims without the distraction of game play...
