I was just having a crazy thought. Imagine I'm walking down the street, and there are two policemen walking towards me. Suddenly a crazy dude with two guns comes up behind them and shoots them right in the back of their heads, boom, they fall down dead. Is it illegal if I pissed on ONE of their dead faces? What about both of them? If so, which law does it break? Oh wait, public urination I guess, but what else?

What if this takes place in a public bathroom, and the policeman falls with his face in the urinal, so my urine tidily goes into the urinal down his dead face?

Obviously I would never do such a thing, I am just wondering about the law.

I'm gonna to be honest with you, I stand with Palestine not only because they're in the right, but because their cuisine is better and their dietary laws aren't too restricting.

Did you guys know kosher laws forbid Ashkenazis from mixing dairy products and meat together on any plate? so I guess that technically means Jews can never eat lasagna or pizza without removing cheese or meat. no wonder they are angry all the time.

I am not involved in his death, I am not connected to anyone who commits the murder, I am not a witness to the crime, I am only pissing on the police officer after it is already dead. Not a lawyer, but as far as I can tell this would probably fall under "outraging public decency". It could possibly also be charged under "preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body" (the decent part). This is more of a stretch, but it could maybe be classed as a crime against property (vandalism) given the corpse presumably belongs to the police officer's next of kin?

140 Name: ((●)トェェェイ(●)) : 1993-09-11146 16:27

In an English speaking country people who retaliate against you are unlikely to get charged, so you'd likely get beaten by a bystander to the natural commotion and shock of a shooting in the UK. If it is filmed you will likely be doxed and fired

141 Name: ((●)トェェェイ(●)) : 1993-09-11146 18:44

>>137 The phenomenon isn't exclusive to AOL, they just happened to facilitate it with their discs at the time. The Internet as a whole continues to welcome new users but maybe the etiquette/traditions/expected understanding is different than then. Like for a lot of n00bs today "the internet" just means social media and apps. I have been reading about how the layperson today is less likely to know things like downloading files, opening zip archives, torrenting things, using a computer and not just tapping a phone. When people click obviously fake links and get a virus or take fake news seriously on social media, making the experience worse for their peers, that seems like part of the same thing.

You can still see it happen today with other web communities. A community with a culture and etiquette suddenly gets an influx of new users who don't know/respect that etiquette. With Usenet, the existing userbase got swamped with the new users, but sometimes in other places the new users get bored and leave. For example when Elon Musk took over twitter, a large number of users left for tumblr, but couldn't get their head around how it worked a bit different to twitter. They loudly decided tumblr was shit because they weren't spoonfed content and didn't know to follow people, and they were shunned and mocked by the tumblrati - but on the other hand, tumblr updated their layout to be more like twitter, to make it more familiar for the new twits, which alienated some of the regulars. You even see it here now and then, a new user arrives and stands out due to the way they post, and there is perhaps a bit of kickback from the regulars, and they eventually assimilate or leave, possibly with a little bit of drama. I quite like when that happens, it's a bit of fun. I think we will eternally get people who want to get involved in things but don't want to take the time to learn and fit in. I like it when more people get involved, just to be clear, I'm not one of these gatekeeping purists. It's all good fun.
